Chapter 31

Sophia's POV

My eyes fluttered open slightly, and almost immediately i could feel a deep pain and soreness between my legs. I could barely recall what happened after the intensity of the power overtook me and coursed through my veins.  Shifting slightly to get out of the bed I froze as i came to a realisation.

It all came crashing down on me when i realized that i was in bed, stark naked. Against me, as gloriously naked as i was, was Shuu his legs intertwined with mine, his body so close against me i could feel the heat radiating off him. I turned slightly and watched Shuu's peaceful face as he slept, his eyes fluttered shut and his face looked so serene.

I just started to notice how his arm was on my waist heavily, trapping me in his embrace.

What the hell happened last night?

I shifted, trying to get his arm off me, the confusion overtaking me. My movements awoke Shuu, as he stirred, opening his eyes slowly and staring down at me. The look in his eyes scared me a little, he looked absolutely ecstatic.

"My chosen one." He murmured, licking his lips as he smiled down at me in awe.

I was the chosen one, and i could feel so much power in me. I didn't feel any different, which i thought was rather strange, but i knew everything had changed.

"What happened?" I asked, realizing how dry my throat felt.

He raised an eyebrow slightly, amusement clouding over his face as he stared down at me.

"Do you not remember?" He asked softly.

"Remember what? ," i said, feeling more confused than ever.

"You felt so good, my darling." He murmured, leaning in close to her ear.

My eyes widened as i catched onto the meaning behind his simple words.

"Fuck! Are we mated now?" I said, slightly out of breath. I took it much better than i expected myself to. Perhaps i had given so much away that the realization of me giving myself away to someone i didn't truly love didn't hit me as hard as i thought it would.

"Yes, we are one now." Shuu said, stroking my face with his hands softly.

"I-"

"We are mated, my dear. You are mine and mine alone forever." He said darkly, as his eyes flashed power.

Tears flooded my eyes, i couldn't even remember anything last night, and i lost it all, to him?

I looked up at his face, but confusion clouded me as i was met with gleaming white eyes.

Snow?

A small voice tears me from my thoughts, whispering softly but urgently.

"Sophia."

His voice, how i missed it so much.

"I miss you so much, Sophia." His voice rang again, and i glared slightly.
