"Alright."

----

Dongmin finished eating in no time. He guessed what his friend had to say, if he had to say anything at all, was fairly important, and if he was being completely honest, he was anxious. As for the reason why, that he didn't know. He figured that he might as well hurry eating, so he could just get whatever it was over with. He was one that was easily spooked, upset, or torn down; he was one that always assumed the worst in things.

Now, he was sure something bad was going to happen, whether it be bad news or... even more bad news. During times like these, his mind would wander all over the place and not a single thing lined up. Thoughts of 'What did I do?' and 'Is he mad at me?' were racing through his head as he took the final bite of his donut. "I'm done," he said, wiping his hands of powder on his sweatpants. He looked to Moonbin, pointing up the stairs. "Just let me go grab my sweatshirt from your room, then we can go outside."

"I'll wait down here, then." The pink-haired male waved at Dongmin as he raced up the steps.

While Moonbin waited for his friend to grab his hoodie from his room, he approached the mound of shoes by the door. He quickly found his slippers and nudged them onto his feet. By the time he was done, Dongmin came rushing down the stairs, a sweater of sorts now covering up his shirt.

"Ready?"

"As ready as I'll ever be."

Moonbin chuckled, mumbling, "Oh, I'm not so sure about that..." He was positive Dongmin would never be ready for when the day finally came, and even if he was, that didn't mean he would take it well. The younger opened the door and held it open for his friend, gesturing to the darkness outside. "Well, come on, ladies first."

Dongmin scoffed and hit him on the arm. "How flattering."

"What can I say?" Moonbin ushered him outside, following close behind. "You're a natural beauty." He closed the door behind the two of them and led the older to the backyard.

"Is that so?"

"'Course it is."

The younger shivered from the cold, yet remained determined. The bite of the breeze wouldn't keep him from saying what he needed to. He sat down in the grass, patting the ground beside him. "Come sit."

The dark-haired male complied and plopped down next to him.

It was a lovely night in both of their eyes. Sure, maybe it was a bit cold, maybe even a bit damp, but none of those things seemed to faze either one of them. Everything was fairly dark, the only thing that lit up the streets were the lamp posts at the end of each block. The sky was filled with glowing stars; the planets were even brighter.

"Have you ever wondered if there are aliens out there?" Moonbin suddenly asked, lying down on the wet grass. He turned his head to the side to get a good look at Dongmin. The boy held the wonder of the world in his eyes as he gazed at the stars. What a beautiful sight it was.

"Of course I have. Who hasn't?" Dongmin used his hands to support his body from hitting the ground when he leaned back to get a better look at the night sky.

"Babies. Babies are too young to wonder about those things." The pinkette stretched his arm above his head, positioning it under his neck. When the older hummed in agreement, he continued,"You know what my mom used to tell me when I was little?"

"What?"

"She used to tell me that somewhere far away, we had alien clones."

"Clones?" the raven laughed, glancing at the other in disbelief.
