And for the first time, the older responded with silence.

-7 Days Remaining-
-Amusement Park Date-

Amusement park dates were a classic, a sure deal.

Usually, they resulted in a romantic kiss on the Ferris Wheel as the sun began to set, usually they resulted in a confession of feelings, and most certainly, when the date was over, the people who entered as just friends left as something else: a couple who had newfound commitment to each other, a pair with a relationship that needed to be worked on, or maybe something that was just more

Either way, Moonbin knew all too well that his and Dongmin's "more" was still far off, so when they entered the park filled with rides and snack booths, the younger paid no attention to the large wheel looming over ASTRO Theme Park, as if its guardian, and instead focused completely on the Tilt-A-Whirl placed only fifty feet away from the entrance.

"We have to go on that one first!" The pinkette pointed to the wide, circle shaped ride eagerly. "C'mon, c'mon!" he urged. Excitement flowed through his system as he jogged over to the spinning ride, claiming the first spot in the empty line for himself.

Dongmin followed behind, not quite as fast as his friend, but quick enough that there was no chance of anyone taking his place. He was smart to do so, because as soon as he landed himself in line, people from all around clustered up behind him.

Moonbin clicked his tongue. "I think they lined up just because a handsome guy got in line." He peeked behind his friend to the long row of people now glancing at them and whispering amongst themselves. He laughed, although no real amusement could be heard, and leaned back against the red, metal railing sectioning off the line from the rest of the park. "Oh well, too bad they're out of luck."

"They're out of luck?" Dongmin chided. "And why is that?"

The pinkette just smiled innocently. "Because you're already mine." As if backing up his statement, the employee managing the ride opened the gate, keeping the other from being able to retort with any words at all.

"You two together?" the woman asked, needing to know where to put them on the ride, but Moonbin seemed to take it another way when he instantly brightened up and nodded fervently. "Right, okay, you two can take any one of the smaller pods; they will be the blue ones. Enjoy the ride." She waved to them politely and continued pairing up the others in line behind them.

"You like these type of rides, don't you? You always used to ride them when we were little." Moonbin slid into his seat, positioning the bar over his and Dongmin's legs when both were sat down. He peered at the other as he waited for him to answer the question.

"Ah, well..." The older stumbled over his words, scratching at the back of his head. "I actually rode them just 'cause you did." A sheepish smile stretched at his pink lips, and his eyes moved from his left leg to his right, obviously trying to avoid eye contact. He finally glanced up after an eternity of awkward mumbling and jumbled up excuses only to see that Moonbin's jaw had dropped completely. "I-I'm just not one for rides, okay! Don't look at me like I just solved the biggest mystery in the universe."

"You're kidding me!"

"Huh?"

"I only rode them because I thought you wanted to! Like, that really huge ride we went on in seventh grade!" He emphasized huge by making a twisted up facial expression and a large shape with his hands. "I thought you wanted to ride it! I was seriously scared out of my wits and thought I was gonna poop myself, but I did it for you!" By the time the younger finished talking he was practically bursting with laughter and disbelief. His hands still weakly formed whatever shape he had tried making. Eventually, though, his arms fell, body racking with laughter. "Wow, I'm an idiot! Wait, you're an idiot! Wait, wait, wait!" He clutched his stomach and leaned back. "We're both idiots!"
