George buckle Rachel into her car seat before he gets into his. Once buckled in he starts to head back to his old home. John and Paul's wedding was just a week away now. George wasn't planning on staying with his parents with the chance of Richard doing the same, so he booked a hotel room that was close to where the ceremony was being held.
The drive was short, only an hour. George walked into the lobby of the hotel with Rachel in his arms and walked up to the desk to check in.
"Name please." The receptionist said not bothering to look up at the man in front of her.
"Harrison." He answered in the same monotone voice. She typed the name into the desktop.
"George?" She questioned. George nodded. "Your on the second floor, room 221." She said giving him a fake smile. He goes back to his car and gets his duffle bag.
When he got up to his room, he set Rachel down to explore the room. While she did that, George pulled out his phone and texted Paul.
George: I'm here.
Paul: good, can you do me a favour please?
George: Sure what?
Paul: talk to Richard, please.
George: I can't do that. Not after the way I left him. It will just hurt us both more.
Paul: george, please, he's in pain. he thinks that it's his fault that you left. john and i have found him in situations that would hurt you if you saw them. i think that he's going to try again while john and i are on our honeymoon.
George: Please stop trying to shame me into talking to him. I know what you're saying isn't true. So stop lying to me, I don't need this right now.
Paul: im not lying......
And with that, Paul stopped texting. Paul was lying to him. George knew it. Richard wasn't that type of person. But he could be, George had only known him for a few months anyway, so there must be a few things that he didn't know.
