Once the rehearsal was over, George tried his best to get the fuck out of there as fast as possible. He already promised John and Paul that he would go to their wedding by RSVPing, but that doesn't mean that he couldn't leave early after the reception.
But then he remembered that he had parked next to Richard before he knew it was him. Damn it he thought. He went around to the side of his car, to where Rachel's seat was, but before he could open the door he heard a familiar voice.
"George!!" It called out. "Wait!!" George let out a long sigh and looked up. He saw Richard at the front of his car with a pleading look on his face. He walked up to him.
"What do you want?" He questioned.
"You." He answered. "I want you back. You said that she was mine, I want to be apart of her life as well as yours."
"Richard..." George's voice trailed off.
"Please Georgie. I haven't been myself since you left. I've done things...things to myself that you can't even imagine someone doing to themself. Please. I...I love you Georgie. I will still love you if you deny me, I'll love you for the rest of my short, pitiful life."
George was crying by now. He now realised what Paul had told him was true. But it was too much. It was all to much for him. He still loved Richard, but finding out that he loved him back was all to overwhelming.
"It's to much." He whispered. He didn't think that Richard heard him, but he did. He wore a sad look when he walked to his car, still planning on going through with his plan tomorrow. George didn't try to stop him. All he did was buckle Rachel into the back seat and get in the car himself. They both drove away, thinking about what had happened. Thinking about all of the "what ifs" about their conversation and the events that happened in their childhood. But they both knew that what happens in the past can never change.
