A few hours later.

"Do I have to ask you again to behave?" Sascha growls at me, while holding a blood soaked crowbar in her hand, "you will submit to me and my rules, or this will become a difficult situation between us."

Her dark eyes have no mercy for me.

I spit out the blood onto the floor and look past her. I could only see out of one eye, the other one is almost swollen shut.

"Fuck you." I growl at her and she hits me with it again.

I grunt once as she hits me the hundredth time.

I've gotten use to the pain, its not so bad anymore. I just continue to stare at the floor as she continues to beat me.

"Sascha," one of the wolves says calmly and blocks her from hitting me again, "I think he's had enough. Give him a break. Please?" The small one says.

"We still need him for the V." Jo growls, supporting the other wolf.

"I can't give one shit about the V. We have his brother's blood, so why do we need to keep him alive? He's such a pain to handle." She says, putting the crowbar down.

"He's the closer match for the V than his brother. Mason wants-

"Mason wants this, Mason wants that. What about what the council wants? What about the reason the council sent me here? I'm not here to babysit." She growls while looking at me.

She takes me by my throat and chokes me. I make firm eye contact with her, not giving in to her power.

I bare my fangs at her and she lets go of me. We contain the eye contact.

"I'm not done with you, you'll submit to me sweetheart," she whispers to me, "Get him out of here, take him back to his prison. I'm done with him for now." She says, growling at me.

"Over my dead body." I spit at her.

She growls angrily and leaves the room, throwing the bloody crowbar onto the floor.

My blood is all over the place.

"You can't interfere like that Nathan," Jo says, cleaning the crowbar with a white towel, "You'll end up like him, just probably dead. Well, deader?"

"Mate, violence isn't the answer to everything Jo." He says and softly smiles at me.

I break the eye contact and glare away to the door.

"You'll have to get use to it, Aussie. It's much different here than Australia. We don't do it the down under way here. Come on, take him back. I've got to clean up this bloody mess." Jo says and starts scrubbing up my blood with a large sponge.

Nathan is a smallish wolf, tall blond with surfer hair. Not like the others, beyond all of the violence. He doesn't seem to fit in here or at least with these kind of wolves.

"Come on, lets get you back." Nathan says, putting his arm around me to help me walk.

I fall to my knees and I softly sob once, but I stopped myself from crying. He gently pats my shoulder and helps me.

"Woah, steady there mate. Let me help you." Nathan helps me up by taking my hand and I limp down the hallway.

My eyesight is blurry and my head is spinning. I feel so bruised and hurt, but it's manageable. I can still take the chance to attack him.

"She really did you some damage, sheesh man, I'm sorry. I hate that she does that to people."

I stay silent and ignore his small talk. He's clearly got sympathy for me, which is annoying when he tries to make small talk. Im not in the mood for his company.
