Jon

"It was necessary Dany, I know you're not happy about it but it had to be done! I warned him and gave him an ultimatum, he failed. All of this is his fault, if it wasn't for his manipulations we wouldn't have had these issues now. That man's blood is on Tyrion's hands not mine!" Jon hissed at his wife.
Dany was not pleased, Jon had Tyrion taken to the dungeons after he had killed Daario.
Jon watched her as she paced in front of their fire place. He was glad baby Robb was with Missandei because he'd be crying at their raised voices. Jon hated arguing with Dany but he had a point and needed her to understand. She was almost taken from him because of Tyrion's past schemings.
Jon sucked in a deep breath, trying to calm himself before breaking the silence between them. "Dany..." he began in a more hushed tone. He approached his wife who had stopped pacing and placed his hands on her waist.
"You need to realize that Tyrion does not have our best interest in mind, he only thinks of himself. He tried to persuade me to charm lady Martell into staying in the kingdom. Dany, there isn't any honor in that, I will not have him advising us to do things that go against our vows. We promised things to each other and we both promised to rule the Seven Kingdoms honorably." Dany broke away from his grasp and turned around to face him, Jon didn't like the way she disconnected herself from him.
He watched her with furrowed brows as she spoke in her cold queenly tone.
"Tyrion is my Hand, he was chosen by me Jon since I was in Meereen. If you had any questions or concerns with his advising approach you should've come to me and spoken with me. But you didn't Jon, you just murdered the man I appointed in Meereen and commander of the second sons. You sent my Hand to the dungeons, you blind sided me! We are supposed to be ruling together, as equals! Don't you see, now we have more problems? The sell swords will want an explanation as to why the King had their commander and friend murdered. We are trying to make peace throughout the realms, Daario was loyal to me, to me Jon! What kind of Queen am I if I allow my King to kill the men who are loyal to me? And for what, jealously? Grow up Jon if ruling was based on emotions this whole kingdom would be dead. As far as Tyrion trying to manipulate you into charming Lady Martell all you had to say was 'NO' Jon. You're the King no one can force you to do anything. He would've come up with another plan. Even you know I'd never allow that."
Jon stood there guilty, she was right, he was so over taken by his emotions that now he had caused more problems for their Kingdom. But he still felt he was correct about Tyrion, he didn't want him as their Hand anymore.
"Dany...you're right and I'm sorry. I shouldn't have lost control. It's just that when I saw that idiot taking you away while you tried to fight him off I lost it. You and Robb are my life I'd die and kill for you both, you obviously know that. But please forgive me I shouldn't have been so instinctive. I should've consulted with you first about what to do with that man. He was loyal to you but I will help you fix this, if you'll allow me. However, I think I'm right about Tyrion. I'm no longer comfortable having him as our Hand." Jon stood his ground in front of his wife who was obviously annoyed and upset. Dany's arms were crossed and she was thinking.
"Then Tyrion will be my Hand and you can choose your own Jon but I want him out of the dungeons. He can be sent to his chambers to ponder about what transpired this evening. But I have no idea how to resolve this issue about Daario. I need Tyrion to come up with a solution. Unless you have one Jon?"
Dany was searching his face and he gulped feeling like a fool because he had no solution. Tyrion is the one who always came up with those. Now he had to choose a Hand for himself because he didn't trust Tyrion. Jon sighed and answered, "No my love I have no solution at the moment."
Dany rolled her eyes, "That's what I thought, now if you don't mind I'm going to send Ser Jorah to get Tyrion out of the dungeons. Get some rest and try to come up with a solution for Meereen because I'm going to need more than one option my King."
Jon watched Daenerys walk out of their chamber, he was upset with himself. It wasn't very Kingly of him to kill Daario on the spot. He was loyal and he killed him because of his jealousy.
Jon undressed from the leathers, made his way to the table with the pitcher of wine and ale. He poured himself some ale and gulped down two full mugs. He made his way to the balcony overlooking King's Landing and sighed. Jon watched the people in the streets below as they retired for the night.
Sometimes he wished he wasn't King, just a simple bastard again, living in the north with his wife and child. But alas, he wasn't he was a King with the blood of greatness within him. Two families with King bloodlines, the kings of winter the Starks and the great Targaryen conquerors. Dany was good at ruling she understood the sacrifices that had to be made and he didn't. Her mindset was that of a ruler, she was compassionate and just. She knew when to show mercy and when to show her wrath. All he knew was how to do the right thing.
Except for tonight, he knew killing Daario was not right but it sure did feel good. Jon felt such satisfaction watching that fools pompous smirk go away as his head hit the floor and rolled. He was glad to silence that serpents tongue, how dare he speak of his wife in that way. Jon felt that heat of rage sweep over his body again. Deep down Jon didn't regret what he did but he was sorry for the future problems he'd caused.
