Jon
Two weeks have passed after the army of the dead was defeated. Jon could walk without a stick for support and Daenerys had woken up after three days of being unconscious. She had taken the loss of their child hard and was instructed to stay in bed until she was fully recovered. Sam told her that Maester Wolkan wanted her to stay in bed so there would be less chance of miscarrying their other child, if there was one. Jon had stayed by her side while she slept, he never left because he wanted to be there for her when she woke up. They had lost many friends, unsullied, Dothraki and northmen. Jon had decided along with Tyrion that they needed to recover from the loss of friends and their army before going forward to take King's Landing. So he began having repairs done on the parts of the castle that were burned and helping his sisters help the northern people with whatever they needed.
Jon was looking for Daenerys' hand but couldn't find him. He came upon Lord Varys and Ser Davos in the Great Hall and asked if they had seen Tyrion and the eunuch told Jon he was in the library reading.
Jon made his way towards the library and when he arrived he saw Tyrion sitting down reading and drinking with a pile of books all around him. Jon noticed that he was drinking more since the loss of his brother Ser Jaime.
"Lord Tyrion, I need to speak with you and discuss something. I'd also like some advice on how to begin the war on King's Landing."
Tyrion nodded while he gulped down some wine and then gestured with his hand for Jon to join him.
"Well this is something new, the wise Warden of the North coming to seek the council of a Lannister. Ha-Ha! Come Lord Snow sit and have some wine with me while we discuss whatever you wish." Tyrion was slurring his words a bit and it was not noon yet.
Jon chuckled a bit at the sight of this small drunk man. He was funny but he was also intelligent and that's why he sought his council.
Jon sat, took in a deep breath and then let it out. Tyrion watched him and smirked before drinking another gulp of wine. "Now I'm intrigued Jon Snow. This must be some news of you can't even begin without taking a deep breath. Come, out with it I'm dying of curiosity!"
Jon smiled and the took the wine goblet Tyrion had poured for him. He took a long sip, wiped his mouth with his forearm and put the cup down. "Well for starters Tyrion my name is not Jon Snow." Jon watched as Tyrion's eyes squinted in confusion but Jon didn't want him to speak so he continued. "My father Ned Stark brought me to Winterfell when I was a baby to be raised as his bastard because he made a promise to my mother that he would protect me. He kept me safe from his best friend and all those who promised to murder my family for their namesake. So he kept me hidden right under everyone's noses as the bastard of Winterfell when in fact this bastard is the true heir to the Iron Throne."
Tyrion sat confused, his face was trying to place all the pieces together as he analyzed internally Jon continued. "My mother was Lyanna Stark and my father was Rhaegar Targaryen, he didn't kidnap and rape her they loved each other and were wed in secret in Dorne. A maester from the citadel annulled his marriage to Elia Martell and that same Maester married my parents." Tyrion's eyes widened as he stared at Jon in shock. Then he spoke, "Ned Stark was truly a genius, hiding his Targaryen nephew as a bastard for all to look over. You're right, he hid you under our very noses. But none of us would've guessed because you look like a Stark with your dark features. You favor your mother obviously because Rhaegar looked very Targaryen. Ha! Clever man that Ned Stark, he was no fool! So tell me Jon—Oh I mean uh...what's your true name then boy?" Asked Tyrion.
Jon smiled, "Boy, really? I'm not a boy lord Tyrion but I'll let it slide. The name my mother and father gave me is Aegon Targaryen."
Tyrion smiled as he sipped his wine now, "Ah another Aegon perhaps Rhaegar wanted to name you in memory of his son that was murdered. That was kind of him well Aegon the Conqueror was glorified within the Targaryen family. He was the one who began the Targaryen Dynasty in Westeros and he built the Red Keep. Makes sense really since now you will take it back with Daenerys...." Tyrion trailed off and then his eyes grew large, "Does Daenerys know she's not the last Targaryen, she is going to be devastated! Have you told her Jon?"
Jon chuckled and drank more wine before he answered, "Of course she knows Tyrion I told her, she was the first person I told and now I've told you. My brother Bran and my friend Sam Tarly are the ones who found out my parentage
and revealed all this to me but I swore them to secrecy until I decided to announce it. I honestly didn't care to before because I didn't think we would survive the army of the dead but we did so here I am telling you before I reveal who I am to everyone. That's why I need your council, I need to know how to go about it and a plan to get my family's throne back."
Tyrion was relieved that he didn't have to break the news to Daenerys. Jon saw his relief and laughed, "Does my little Dany terrify you so much that you're relieved you don't have to tell her my secret?"
Tyrion gave him a sour glance, "Listen Jon it's not that I'm terrified, it's that I've done such a shit job of lately as her hand. If I gave her this news I'm sure she'd of unnamed me her Hand and probably given it to Jorah!"
Jon chuckled some more in his wine cup as he drank, trying not to spit. "Tyrion all is well, you need not fear my Dany's wrath she knows and we have decided to rule together. Now we await the birth of our first heir to the Targaryen dynasty, if the gods be good and allow it."
Tyrion shook his head smiling, "Yes, now I don't have to bother Her Grace about the succession anymore. I'm happy for the both of you and pray she delivers the child with no issues. He will be strong and healthy I feel it, don't worry too much about that. So now that Daenerys is pregnant and you are not a bastard are we to expect a wedding? I doubt you want your son to be an illegitimate child being your first born?"
Jon nodded, smiled and said firmly. "Of course I'm going to marry Daenerys. As soon as she gets permission from the Maester and Sam that she can begin to do things normally without threatening our child's life we will marry. My son will not be a bastard you can count on that."
"Good!" Said Tyrion, "Now lets get our plan in order. Let's see...what's the best way to break this news to these Northern Lords? They're a tough crowd and let's see how they take their once King in the North when they find out he's half Targaryen. Ha, the irony of it all! Oh Ned Stark you clever dog you!"
They both laughed and sipped wine while Tyrion conjured up another one of his clever plans for the reveal of Jon's parentage and the plan to conquer King's Landing.
