Jon

Another month was almost over and the Night King still hadn't arrived. So Jon kept on preparing for the attack, he was grateful for this extra time. He was able to arm the walls of Winterfell with dragon glass spikes in case the dead tried to breach the walls, this would slow them down and allow the archers to shoot.
Jon was on his way to see Gendry his newest friend and blacksmith to see how his attempt at forging Valyrian steel was coming along. He also wanted to see what new dragon glass weapons he had forged.
Jon entered the hot enclosure and was surprised to see Arya sitting on a stool laughing, smiling, carrying on while Gendry was almost shirtless banging at some iron.
Jon noticed that Gendry was laughing along with her as well. 'Hmmm?' Jon thought this is a new development. He approached them and that's when Gendry cleared his throat nervously and Arya looked up at Jon then to the floor.
"Well, well what do we have here?" Jon questioned eyeing both of them back and forth.
Arya rolled her eyes, "I'll see you later Gendry. Jon, I'm grown and don't need to explain myself to anyone. He's my friend and we were just catching up. Bye I need to go and train with Brienne." Jon watched her leave annoyed and then he looked back towards Gendry who was also watching his little sister leave but in a longing, love struck way. Jon knew this look, he was the master of this look because that's how he looks at Daenerys. 'Uh-oh.' He thought to himself with a smirk. 'Looks like Arya's got an admirer. At least it's Gendry and not some idiot.' Jon cleared his throat again but with some sarcasm. Gendry met his, 'Oh really eyes,' and went back to his work as if he weren't caught gawking at his friends sister.
"So, you and Arya?" Jon pressed not changing the subject Gendry was so eager to change.
"Uh-I'm sorry, what Jon?" Gendry asked playing the ever so ignorant.
Jon laughed, "Ha, ha! Oh, ok I see. You want to keep things quiet until you know for sure what's going on, or how she feels. Well my friend let me ease your conscious, I know my sister and let me tell you I've never seen her behave that way with anyone."
Gendry stared at Jon with his confused, blank face. 'He doesn't get what I'm saying.' Jon smiled at Gendry. "She likes you, the way you like her Gendry. Is that clear enough for you?"
Gendry let out a breath and smiled satisfied.
"Seven hells are you sure Jon? Because I swear your sister is the hardest person to read...emotionally that is."
Jon shook his head, "Yes we northerners are quite stoic but I believe she does like you more than just a friend. Just don't hurt her Gendry because if you do I'm sure she will kill you and wear your face." Gendry and Jon both laughed at the truth of his statement.
"Besides if Arya killed you, who would I have to arm the north with weapons?" Jon teased.
"Oh I see, you only care about me because I'm a good Smith." Gendry spat pretending to be wounded at his friends words. Jon shook his head saying, 'No.' He broke the humor by asking what he came to ask.
"So Gendry any new dragon glass forges? How's the Valyrian steel coming along any success?"
"Yeah, I've had a few requests from the hound, Arya and her Grace. Come follow me."
Jon followed his friend and asked, "Daenerys has requested a weapon? For what?"
Jon followed him down a hall and then he stopped in front of a large wall full of weapons and armor.
"Her Grace wanted me to make her a breast plate of dragon glass. Along with these." Gendry led Jon to another room where two men sat pounding on some large pieces of dragon glass armor.
Jon's mouth gaped in awe.
Gendry broke the silence, "She wanted me to build armor for both dragons if there was enough obsidian left. So I began them last week I had to get both measurements. Oh she also wanted me to make this for her." Gendry walked with Jon over to a large crate that was made of dragon glass, it had her Targaryen sigil etched on the sides. Jon furrowed his brows in confusion. "What does she want with a dragon glass crate?"
Gendry shrugged his shoulders, "I don't know Jon why don't you ask her aren't you two together?"
Jon let out a sigh, "We are not speaking at the moment. That's why I don't know why she asked for all of this."
Gendry nodded in understanding, "Sorry I asked man. Women are...complex creatures. maybe she wants it so she can put her clothes in? I don't know I just make what I'm told." Jon laughed nodding his head agreeing but he also knew that was not why he and Daenerys weren't speaking. "Yes they are but here we are fools in love, with two of the most complex women known to mankind."
Both friends laughed in unison and Gendry then showed Jon the other new weapons he made with Dragon glass along with the Valyrian steel ones.
