Chapter 4 - Secrets

Author's Note - Time skip since last time, it's their first time at this new school now

Shuichi's PoV

I had woken earlier than everyone else in preparation for our new school, I slipped my shirt on over my head and yanked up my jeans. Finally securing them with my belt, I then slipped my tie on, not bothering to actually do it up just yet.

I then dragged my feet towards the bathroom, the door was slightly ajar,  A golden morning light seeping through the small opening. Nudging the door slightly on my way in, I took everything in. It was a beautiful little bathroom, and stood in the middle, looking into the mirror, Hair wildly blown around his face. His eyes dully staring at his own reflection as he ran the brush through his perfect teeth.

That sounded gay.

No, I'm just observing him, I do that all the time without even thinking about it I guess.

His eyes turned towards me and an awkward silence filled the room. I hadn't talked to Kokichi since we left the killing game.. I guess I should clear things up with him.

"Hey Kokichi, how are you?" I asked, my voice a bit raspy from when I first woke up. He instantly looked away, not responding. "Kokichi is everythi-" Our conversation was abruptly interrupted by the smaller boy suddenly buckling over and gagging. "OUMA!" I ran over to him as fast as I could. I lay his head on my lap. "Hey, Hey look at me, It's gonna be okay.." I rolled him over so that I could see his face.

T-This can't be real

All four of us sat, worried outside of the hospital room, My foot repeatedly hit the floor in a fast, repeating motion. Sweat formed on my head as I fully processed what had happened, Kokichi had coughed up purple flowers along with puke and blood. I prayed that my deduction was wrong this time. please be wrong.. just this once, right at that moment one of the trainee nurses walked out of the room, making eye contact with Himiko. The nurses eyes widened suddenly looking at all of us. "Himiko Yumeno?" She excitedly whispered, Himiko didn't understand the situation fast enough and nodded. "AAAHH OH MY GOD! I LOVE YOU GUYS SO MUCH- DANGANRONPA WAS SO GOOD THIS YEAR BECAUSE OF YO-" She was abruptly silenced by Maki's hand covering her mouth and trademark death stare. "It wasn't enjoyable, and frankly i'm disgusted that you enjoyed it in anyway" Maki growled, removing her hand from the nurses flushed face

Another nurse ran over after seeing the conflict, her dark purple hair trailing quickly behind her, "H-hey what's w-w-with all the y-yelling?" She stuttered whilst taking the situation in.  She went quickly into a state of shock, her eyes darting from each of us "Come with me" She whispered, tugging on my sleeve. She lead us to an unused room, not too far from Kokichi's. She took her face mask down

"I am Mikan Tsumiki, Super High School Level Nurse"
