"Still a good game."

I tried to make the situation comfortable. We're currently at my van. Damon was too quiet and not at the good mood.

I get it. They lose the match, a very important win to continue their records with no lose. Well, game is just a game.

"It's my fault." Blamed himself.

"20 points in three set?! Yet you blaming  yourself? You must kidding me." I laughed but his serious expression told his reply. "Maybe, your opponent was came prepared."

"Than us?" He asked. "We're prepared."

"Of course you all does." I cleared. "But they need this W, and that game tells it is really for them."

"And we need that Win either." He debunked. "We want to sweep this season, we need to sweep this reason." His tone raised.

I bite my lower lip then breathe.

"Pwede pa naman kayong bumawi."

"Exactly! But the fact we lose a game. No sweep." Pagpilit niya. "We need to be in the finals agad."

Huminga uli ako.

"What's more important; sweep the season or be a champion in this season?" I asked him.

"Champion definitely."

"So no need to be bother by not sweeping the whole season. You can make bawi and have that championship title that makes it a big deal."

This scene made me deja vu. Parang ang kausap ko lang ay si Simon dahil sa pagiging competitive ni Damon.

"Our momentum might lose--"

"Trust the process, Damon. You might use this as an inspiration to work more to win again next game." Dagdag ko.

"But I want an easy win."

"It's a sign that there is no easy way."

Hindi na siya maimik, nawalan na ata ng mga kontra na kokontrahin ko rin.

"Fine." Sumuko na siya. "I want to have rest now." Kinunutan ko si Damon ng noo.

"Excuse me, we were having a dinner together." Paalala ko kung hindi man niyang maalala.

Sinapo niya ang noo.

"Rest is more important for me now."

"But what was important for me was having a dinner with you." Sinabihan ko na ang driver kung saan kami ihahatid. "You can rest after... With me if you want."

When I woke up in the next morning, Damon wasn't in my side. We shared bed last night at my place and had a sexy night but now, he's gone.

I tried to look him around the house but there's no trace that Damon still here.

"Finding Damon?" Napatalon ako sa gulat nang bumungad sa harap ko si Simon.

"Good morning, baby." I gave him a kiss. "You saw him?" Lumingon pa ako sa likod baka nandoon lang siya at hindi ko napansin kasi magkasama sila ni Simon.

"I saw him... Last night."

Naging blangko na ang reaksyon ko.

Pumunta ako sa kitchen to make a breakfast for my baby.
