So if you haven't read the first to parts to this I suggest you do that.
Also sorry that it took so long for me to post this part. I wasn't sure what I wanted to happen.
"Delilah no!" I yelled as I watched her run out into the backyard and jump right into a mud puddle.
I sighed as I set Juliet, my second daughter, higher up on my hip and ran after Delilah.
"Come on mommy! It's fun!" she yelled rolling around in the mud.
"No. It's time to go inside." I told her.
"I don't want to!" She pouted and slammed her hands down into the mud, causing it to fly out and land all over Juliet and I.
"Inside now!" I growled through clenched teeth.
She quickly hopped up and ran inside.
I sighed as I turned around and walked back into the house. I was about to yell and ask Delilah where she was but I saw her mud trail and decided to follow that instead.
The trail ended in front of the bathroom door. "Delilah?" I questioned as I opened the door and sure enough, there she was. Standing in the middle of the bathroom, her muddy clothes in a pile next to her, and little foot prints on the floor.
I chuckled. "Do you want to take a bath?" I questioned.
She nodded eagerly and ran to the side of the tub. I smiled and took off Juliet's clothes and diaper and set her in her baby bathtub that was inside the tub. Then I started filling the bathtub up with warm water. I picked Delilah up and set her down in the rising water.
I quickly pulled my hair back then started pouring water over Delilah's head. I kept my eye on Juliet as I washed the shampoo out of Delilah's long, dark brown hair.
She giggled and played with her rubber ducky as I finish cleaning all the mud off her.
"You can play until I finish washing your sister. Okay?"
"Okay mommy." She smiled before grabbing the plastic shark that was floating around the tub.
I moved on to Juliet, who was giggling when I leaned over her. I smiled at my one year old, blonde haired, baby.
I gently washed her before rinsing her off and wrapping her in a fluffy blue towel. I continued to hold Juliet as I helped Delilah out of the tub then wrapped a red towel, that had a hood that looked like a serpent, around her body.
She giggled and ran to her room. I smiled as I quickly drained the bathroom then followed Delilah to her's and Juliet's shared room.
When I got there the four year old was already digging through her closet for her pajamas.
I laied Juliet down on the changing table and put a diaper on her then put on her onesie that said 'my aunt is amazing.' Veronica gave it to her as a present for her first birthday.
"Mommy, can you help me?" Delilah asked from behind me.
"Of course honey." I told her as I laid a giggling Juliet down in her crib.
I got on my knees and helped Delilah button up her top. "Mommy?"
"Yes baby?" I questioned as I put my hands on her shoulders.
"Can I take my nap in yours and Daddy's bed?" She asked hopefully.
"Sure. You go get in bed and I'll be there in a minute."
She nodded her head and ran out of the room.
I finished tucking Juliet into her crib before placing a kiss on her forehead and leaving the room.
I slowly opened the door to my room, seeing Delilah already snuggled up under the covers patiently waiting for me.
I smiled and tucked the blankets around her. "Have a good nap sweetie." I said, kissing her cheek.
"Yeah. Go to bed before I sell all your toys." A deep voice joked behind me.
"Daddy!" Delilah yelled.
"Hi baby." Jughead said and placed a kiss on her forehead. She yawned and I smiled.
"Sleep well honey." I told her and grabbed Jug's hand and walked out of the room.
As soon as I shut the door Jughead pushed me up against the wall and smashed his lips against mine.
"Well hello to you too." I joked when we finally pulled away.
He smiled at me. "Sorry but I've wanted to do that all day."
I chuckled.
"You have mud in your hair." He told me.
"Yeah. Delilah found a mud puddle in the backyard and thought it would be fun to splash me."
He laughed. "Our kids are a handful."
"They get it from you." I said poking his chest.
I walked down the stairs and into the kitchen. I stared grabbing ingredients out of the fridge when I felt two arms wrap around my waist.
"I missed you today." Jughead mumbled into the crook of my neck.
I turned around in his arms and placed my hands on his chest. "If you missed me so much then you can make dinner with me."
He groaned and I laughed.
"I love you." He told me, pulling me even closer to him.
I smiled. "I love you too."
