"So buddy," Jughead said bumping my shoulder as we left science, "what's next?"

"Lunch." I told him. "You're welcome to sit with me and my friends if you want."

"Yeah sure." He said as he starred at a girl walking down the hall.

I scoffed and started walking faster."Hey wait up!" Jughead called but I just kept walking.

I put my books away in my locker and grabbed my lunch. I them walked over to Jughead's locker.

"Do you have a lunch?" I asked annoyed.

He chuckled. "Yep." He said, grabbing a brown, paper bag from his locker.

"What's so funny?" I asked him, still frowning.

"Nothing. I just..." He started laughing again.

"What?" I asked again.

"It's just I didn't know that the Northside Princess could do anything but smile." He laughed.

"Do not call me that." I said angrily. "Where did you even here that name at?"

"It doesn't matter." He said smirking then he walked off.

I groaned and walked off into the courtyard. To go eat lunch. There I found Veronica, Archie, and Kevin already sitting there.

I walked over and set my lunch on the table a little to hard.

"What's wrong Betty?" Veronica asked.

"Jughead." I sighed.

Veronica nodded her head in understanding while the boys looked at me confused.

"Jug-what?" Kevin said.

I was about to speak but Veronica cut me off. "Jughead." She said. Archie looked at her with a questioning look.

"It's the new student Betty's showing around this week." Veronica continued. "He's a complete jerk."

"What did he do?" Veronica asked me.

"He called me the 'Northside Princess.'" I groaned.

"Where did he even hear that name?" Kevin asked angrily.

I grabbed the apple that was in my lunch pail."I don't know. I asked but he told me it didn't matter."

Archie spoke. "I haven't heard that name since..."

I cut him off. "Don't even remind me."

"Don't worry Betty." Kevin said as he put his hand over mind. "You just gotta get through this week then you never have to talk to him again."

"Yeah." I said, feeling a bit better after hearing Kevin. "I just gotta get through this week."

1 month later

"Betty Cooper and Forsythe Jones please stay back for a minute, the rest of you are free to leave." Our science teacher called as the bell rang.

I had no idea why I would I have to stay back with Jughead.

I walked up to the teacher's desk and Jughead walked up next to me.

"Hey beautiful." He smirked.

I rolled my eyes and looked away.

The teacher came and sat back down at her desk.

"Jughead," she started, "I don't know if you're aware but you are failing science."

"Yeah." Jughead said, seeming uninterested.
