A/N For the sake of this story line, Jughead's family and his past are a little different because they need to be. Hope you enjoy 😁
Also I'm so sorry that it took so long to publish this part. It took me forever to figure out what to do so I really hope you like it!
FYI this is not revised.
I shift the grocery bag into my left hand and take out my keys. I unlock the apartment door and walk in. "Honey, I'm home!"
I hear Veronica laugh. "Hi babe!"
I smile and walk into the living room where Veronica is sprawled out on the floor, sketches surrounding her, and her computer open in front of her.
I glance at all the papers and one catches my eye. "Is this a new one?" I question, picking up the sketch.
Veronica looks up from her laptop and I show her the drawing I had in my hand. "Yeah. Mr. Laff has that fashion show next month and he asked me to design a few pieces."
My eyes roam over the royal blue gown Veronica sketched. It's off the shoulder and hugs her until her waist, then it falls down to her knees before trailing out behind her and glitter faded into the bottom. "It's beautiful." I compliment, handing it to her.
Veronica beams. "I think this is one of my favorites." She clicks a few buttons before shutting down her laptop. "So anything interesting happen at your first day at work?"
I bite my lip and try not to smile but Veronica sees behind my facade and squeals. "Something did happen!"
I laugh as she stands up. "So what was it?" She asks.
"Well...I might be leaving tonight to go to South Carolina with my new boss."
"What?" Veronica yells in shock.
"It's a long story but basically his family keeps bugging him about getting a girlfriend so tomorrow night his family has a reunion dinner and I will be going with Jughead as his date."
"Well come on then." She smirks, grabbing my hand and pulling me towards my bedroom. "We need to start packing."
I roll my eyes and laugh at my best friend. She throws open my closet doors and starts tossing random clothing into my pink and grey bed spread. "I am not going to pick all this up when you finish." I tell her, picking up some random green shirt I didn't know I even owned.
Veronica shrugs of my comment and continues rummaging through my closet. "How long are you gone for?"
I bit my lip. "I'm actually not sure. Let me text Jughead and find out."
It took only seconds for Jughead to reply.
I read Jughead message out loud to Veronica. "We'll be there all day tomorrow, all day Wednesday, then we'll leave late Thursday night. If that's alright with you."
"Yes that is okay with you." Veronica tells me. I laugh quietly and reply to Jughead saying I was good with it.
I put my phone on my white bedside table and listen as Veronica lays out different outfits. "That's way to many clothes!" I exclaim.
She shakes her head. "No it is not. I'm packing you to be ready for anything."
I grab my winter coat off the edge of my bed. "Does that include a snowstorm in July?" I say with a smirk.
She smiles. "Okay, maybe you don't need to bring that."
We both laugh then continue packing my suitcase.

Unconditional Love - Bughead Oneshots
FanfictionJust a bunch of Oneshots for one of the cutest couples ever. Most of the stories will be just Bughead fluff. If it's a mature theme (it probably won't be) I'll give you a heads up. Swearing isn't very common in this book but it is there. But it's...
