Chapter 11- DJ Jake Is Literally Bringing The House Down
"Oh snap," I nervously squeaked as Dr. Frame, Max, Zeke and I watched the chaos behind a thick bush.
"What do we do? Their still in there!" Max panicked.
Dr. Frame looked tense. He stared at the chaos happening through the crowd of students when Zeke squealed next to us.
"L-look at the all the pretty lights guys!" He pointed to the flashing police sirens.
Suddenly, Zeke turned bright orange and morphed into a police officer, then back to his normal self.
"Zeke," I snapped. "You can't do that here! They'll see you!"
Zeke just stared at the lights when I got an idea. "Wait a minute. Do that again!"
"D-do what again, candy man!" Zeke giggled. He was still hallucinating pretty well. We were running out of options though.
I turned Zeke to face me and I softly said, "I'm sorry man."
Zeke just stared at me as I yelled, "SNAP OUT OF IT!" I smacked Zeke so hard across the face he flew back a yard or two.
"OUCH!" Zeke growled while staring at me. "What was that for!"
"Zeke! You better shape shift into a police officer and get the girls right now or so help me I will smack you again!" I screamed.
"Fine!" He yelled at me as he shape shifted into an office and pointed at me. "I'll do it for them and not you!"
He ran off leaving me smiling and Dr. Frame and Max very confused.
"What just happened?" Max questioned.
"Pep talk," I beamed. "Whenever my dad wants me to do something and I pout he would smack me on the face and yell at me like a coach before a football game. Pep talks really bring out the fire in someone."
Dr. Frame laughed and nudged me on the shoulder. "You little scamp!"
...
"I'll do a way better job at getting the girls than he ever would!" Zeke muttered to himself while climbing up a flight of stairs.
"I swear when I get back I'll-."
"Come on!" A voice yelled in front of him. Zeke watched Vanessa and Rylie pull a girl with dark skin and long braided hair down the stairs.
They all stopped when they stopped Zeke in a police officer form.
"Guys!" Zeke called out. "It's me-." He lowered his voice. "Zeke."
"Zeke?" Rylie gasped. "I thought you were hallucinating?"
"He still is," the girl frowned starring at Zeke. "He is hallucinating a lot."
"Wow! Are you some mind reader or something," Zeke laughed.
"Yes I am," the girl said proceeding down the stairs.
"Where to Zeke?" Rylie asked.
"Follow me," he said leading the girls down the stairs.
The four of them ran down the hallways, parting students as some officers yelled at them.
"Hey stop! That's an order!"
Zeke sniggered and said, "too bad I'm not a real officer!"
They bursted out the gyms doors outside where they were surrounded by police officers, swat cars and guns.
"Oh fish nuggets!" Zeke whimpered.
"But your hands up where I can see them!" a familiar voice shouted.
