Abnegation

To Neptune.

               -Gawain continues his unwilling befriending of the mercenaries...-

The paladin then replied "Yes, we can go as soon as Lora says."; they all look at the princess, she gulps slightly at the sudden attention and explains "Let me change first, we can't have anyone being suspicious of our group in Neptune, can we?". A few minutes later: the five leave the kingdom, with Gawain sending hourly time-stamps to the castle via his cellphone. Along the way, most creatures stayed away from the group of killers and princess as they head north of Castiel.. 

There: many oxen, snakes, insects and snapping-turtles can be seen. Small beaches are also near the waters leading towards Neptune, in the otherwise grassy area. Only the man made path was covered in dirt, but was equally as smeared and trampled because of the creatures' sudden anger... Gawain grabs his blade's hilt as he ordered "Be on guard, men. We're nearing our destination and both the animals and men here are of a more violent breed than near Castiel!", the paladin was still in armor, but wearing somewhat less to not show his alliance with the holy-army of Castiel. The mercenaries were in street clothes, too, wearing their chainmail under this and still holding their claymores at their sides. Lora herself is wearing a red shirt and blue-jeans, along with her hat to not get attention from the pirates in Neptune... The group continues their walk toward the port-town and had no problem with the animals who were backing away.. little did the men know, that Wit was watching from atop the cliffs over looking the beaches there. The white demon followed intensely, watching their group closely...

Gawain sighs "This is going to be dangerous, people are alot more adaptable than beasts.", Jacob replies "We got it, dude! Just chill...". The paladin inhales sharply then says "Alright, I'll be positive: But to be sure, let's take a diamond formation.", the mercenaries all tilted their heads in wonder... until Gawain explains "We all stand in formation around the princess: I'm in front, you 2 on either side and Jacob at the back.". They take the formation and continue, Lora uncomfortably watches them until they get to the gate "This is too much, I know it's dangerous, but I'm not used to all this fussing over me..." she thought "Plus, I need to talk to Wit, I..". She suddenly felt a familiar ominous feeling, causing her to stop before she crosses through Neptune's gates. Gawain noticed "Princess, are you okay?" he asks in sudden great concern... Lora quickly half-lies "Um, I just realized: we're going into a place I only seen a few times when I wos very young... it's reputation's only just gotten worse over the years, too..." she explains, which is true: but her sudden stop wasn't because of this... Gawain smiles assuredly "Don't worry, me and the men will scope out the area: We won't go far, we'll just see if something's amiss just through here.", he gestures for the mercenaries to follow, leaving her alone... Wit quickly crawls down the side of the cliff beside the gate...
