Welcome to my first book ever !! I'm super excited so this will just be a brief explanation of the what the book is about and what it will contain. This book is for mature audiences only ! if you are UNDER the age of 16 I would suggest not reading it but , read at your own risk .

This book takes place in Washington DC in the lates 2000's (2016) . It tells the story of two teenagers from two totally different worlds. Aaliyah Niaba, she is a 17 year old junior at Eastern High School . She is your 'typical' teenage girl . She stays to herself away from the drama , she is fun to be around but she has trust issues . She has a past on her that only so few know about and she wants to keep it that way . She has her demons under control until she meets the new boy Jermaine . Jermaine is not your average 'typical' teenage guy . He is 20 and is a senior at Eastern High School. He keeps to himself and he does not have friends . He has a past on him . A past worse than Aaliyah's , and it haunts him every day in his dreams . He is funny , laid back , a ginormous sweetheart and very protective . However , he has his demons ... demons that he can not get rid of . All he wants to do is find a girl that can help him relieve all of his demons. There are always two sides to a person . There is light and darkness . Jermaine darkness starts to reach the surface as he goes on the crazy journey of love with Aaliyah . Will Aaliyah be able to handle the darkness and all the demons ? Will she leave him stranded or will she help him relive all of his demons or even help create more of them .
