Chapter Nine: Thank God Its Friday

I look at my phone to see it was now 4 am. It was blazing hot in my room... I ended up taking off my shirt and boxers...after realizing my shirt  was soaked in my sweat and my boxers were wet from my 'dream' ! I unlocked my phone and went to Instagram scrolling through my feed. I kept scrolling until I came across the "people you may know" section and I saw a photo that looked familiar . I clicked it

Jermaine ... whew child he looked so damn sexy . He had two photos posted . One was of him and some girl with a cap n gown ... the caption said : proud of my baby sis ... stop growing on me. The other photo was a picture of him with a white t-shirt on ... he had on a all black nike cap and his necklace with the Letter J on it . The caption said : just do it . I didn't even notice that he had a half sleeve of tattoos on his right arm...fuck this boy just keeps getting finer and finer !

* Alarm Blaring ... Bllrrrpppp *

It was now 5 am . I got so caught up in stalking him I didn't even realize that a whole hour had passed by smh

"Shut up !" *hits snooze button*

In thoughts: Great another day I have to spend at this damn school..why can't it be spring break already !! Oh well . 

I get out of the bed , grab my towel and my bonnet ... I walk into the bathroom and turn on the shower waiting for the water to get hot . Meanwhile, I grab my phone and put some music on . 

Pretty Ricky- on the hotline

It's 5 in the mornin-innnnnn

I hop in the shower and let the hot steaming water drop down my body 

45 minutes later 

 I wrapped my towel around my body , hopped out the shower and went to go get ready for the day

damn I look good , I mean who knew that melanin could look this good . I started laughing hard as hell . I had finally chosen a outfit after what seems years of me choosing! I'm wearing a white tank top , with black jeans with wholes ripped in them , and my space jams. I added my necklace with my name on it ... some stud earrings... a black leather jacket and a black headband since I let my hair out today .

I grabbed my back pack and my phone I walked out my room after kissing Tupac good-bye. I closed my door and walked downstairs

" MOM... DAD?! " I yelled

Silence

" MAMA..! DADDY ! " I yelled again

Silence

" where are they ? Why ain't they answering me ?! Ughhh ! " I grunted in frustration

I walked in the kitchen and saw a note on the island table that read...

Hey babe ,

 sorry I know we were suppose to have our talk this morning but , we had to leave early this morning to go see your grandmother, your niece and nephew. We will be back in two days . We love you, we'll be calling you later today to check up on you

No , I am not an only child . I have two brothers Terrance and Jeremiah . I am the youngest Terrance and Jeremiah are the oldest . Terrance and Jeremiah are both twins. We get along perfectly fine besides our arguments they are my best friends ... but some days I be ready to murder them and throw their bodies in a river !

*phone beeps*

Mia Baby: hey babes , I'm gonna be running 10 min late to get you .

Me: that's fine babe , mom and dad out of town anyway !

 I sent the message ... grabbed a fruit cup from the fridge and went to the living room . I plopped down on the couch and turned on spongebob while waiting for Mia. I got bored so I ended up getting back on Instagram and got a notification as soon as I opened the app. 

Notification: officialboyjermaine has started following you .

My eyes grew so damn wide they mine as well had popped out my head. He followed me back !

* BEEP .... BEEP*

I went up and looked out the window to see Mia's car outside . I was so distracted, I didn't even notice she texted me .

I turned off the tv ... grabbed my backpack and keys . I walked out the door and locked it behind me 

I hopped into her car and she pulled off

' I texted you! your the ONE who didn't respond .' She yelled at me

" I got distracted . My bad . " I responded

' With what ? Your never distracted . What's up what's going on ?! ' She asked

" Damn what is this 21 questions ?! But nothing ... I'm good ." I told her. I couldn't tell her ass that I found Jermaine on Instagram and got distracted by his page or she would have had a lot of shit to say out her damn mouth ! 

' Alright . So where did mom and dad go ?! ' She asked

" They went to see grandma , niece and nephew . They will be back on Sunday ." I answered

' Oh alright, damn they couldn't give nobody no warnings before they leave for the weekend. ' She responded

" RIGHHTTT... I mean they just left a note like who does that ! " I replied

' Obviously they do , They disrespectful... ' Mia said , shaking her head

Five minutes later ( School parking lot )

'Well looks like it's time to go back to hell . ' Mia said

I busted out laughing ... I don't know what the fuck was so damn funny ! She wasn't lying though

"Well , mine as well get this day over with . Shit ain't no point in wasting anymore time . " I said

we walked up the stairs to Eastern high and entered the building 

Get off my hair you dumb hoe , was all we heard after entering the building . We walk in to see a crowd of people in the middle of the hallway ... black people! we walked closer to see two girls on the ground punching each other ... the one girl kept screaming for the one to let go of her hair while punching her straight in her face... everyone recording it with their phones . Lmao

'Smh so nobody gonna break that shit up ! ' Mia said . 'It's too early in the morning for this . ' She added

"I know you ain't talking Mia ." I responded ! "But hell nah , if I get punched I'm whooping they asses into next year . "

'I know but I got a headache and these hoes fighting for what ! ' She said .

" I don't know foreal... but its stupid ! " I said "come on , I'll walk you to your locker " I added.
