"did you know the smell of rain relieves stress and improves your mood?" this was her way of greeting.
he looked at the rain from under his umbrella. "maybe more people should smell rain then." she smiled.
"maybe so. or, less people should take it for granted."
they sat in silence for a few minutes.
"why do you come out here?" she watched the rain.
"every single drop of rain is a new start. rain washes away the forgotten things and makes way for the new. in the rain, your perception is distorted from the water." he took his eyes away from her to look at the rain. "i'm not really sure why i come out." she looked down at her hands. "maybe something about the stars makes me feel more alive."
he stared in front of him and knew that every time he saw either rain or stars, he would think of her.
"maybe."
