the night was peaceful. her thoughts were not.
"do you believe in me?" she didn't look at him as she asked. she sounded vulnerable. he was sure of his answer.
"i believe in you more than i believe anything else. i believe in you, i believe you are amazing and nothing will ever change my mind. even if you don't believe in yourself, i'll believe in you. i'll always be here, cheering you on and supporting you. i will always believe in you." she could see the truth in his eyes.
she started to cry.
"thank you," she whispered through her tears. he hugged her.
"i promise i'll always believe in you. i will always be there for you. there's no need to thank me." she smiled and wiped her tears.
"you're amazing. thank you. i'll always believe in you, too. even if you feel like giving up. i'll be there. i will always support you." he smiled.
"i believe my declaration was cheesier." she giggled and playfully punched him. he grinned cheekily.
"you wish."
that was when she knew she had fallen for him.
