they were side by side, watching the glittering dots shine.
"there's gemini, the twin constellation." she told him, pointing to a collection of stars. "and there's orion - you see those three stars? there, in a line? that's the belt."
he gazed at her in wonder.
"how do you know all those constellations?"
"i love looking at the night sky. the moon, stars, clouds, all of it. they're amazing. stars are billions of light years away, yet they burn so bright we see them here. even if what we see is billions of years old, it's still fascinating to watch."
he watched as she talked about her love for the stars. when she smiled, he thought it was brighter than the lights she loved.
it was then he realized he was falling in love with her.
