Splatoon Rise of Sanitization

Chapter 5: Preparation

All 5 of them get their weapons ready and begin to fire at the sanitization that are in the square. It has been like about 1 to 4 minutes before all of them were splatted.

"Phew. That's the last of them," said Tailsy.

"Yeah," said Luci. "But how did they get sanitized?"

"No explanation yet. Hopefully there will be one soon. Though, if we can look around for some clues, then maybe we can find a reason why this is happening."

They started to look everywhere in the square, looking for anything that is the reason on why this is happening. After searching for like 10 to 20 minutes, they found nothing and went back to the middle of the square.

"Did you guys find anything?" asked Tailsy.

"Nothing," said Turquoise.

"There's got to be the reason why this is happening," said Luci.

"Yeah, but we couldn't find anything," said Magenta.

Tailsy looks around some more before hearing something. "Huh? Did you guys hear it?"

"Hear what?"

"It's coming from there," Tailsy said as she points to the gate.

"Again?"

"Okay. This time, I'll check it out. If I send out the signal, then go somewhere safe quickly."

"Okay!" Luci replied as Tailsy begin to walk towards the gate and then, walks down the stairs.

"What do you think Tailsy heard?" said Turquoise.

"Not quite sure," said Ashton. "But whatever it is, hope it is nothing serious or dangerous."

"Oh, I hope not," said Luci. "I can't stand anything more dangerous."

"Maybe I should go and check on her...," said Turquoise as she slowly walks towards the gate.

"No, don't," said Luci.

"Why not?"

"Tailsy said she is checking out by herself and wants us to stay here. Probably for safety."

"Oh. That's right. But did she say she actually checking by herself?"

"Well, no but-"

"Then, I'll go check on her then." Turquoise began to walk a little fast but was hold off by Luci.

"Don't! It's best to stay here."

"Fine..."

Then, out of sudden, a splat bomb was thrown out and near the gate.

"Huh?" said Turquoise. "What is happe-"

"That must be the signal," said Luci.

"If that's the case," said Magenta. "Then that means..."

"We should go somewhere safe where whatever is happening down here won't get us," said Ashton.

"Yeah but where?" asked Turquoise.

"Well, about Tailsy's house?" Luci suggested.

"Alright. At least we'll be safe there." And so, the 4 of them quickly rush over to Tailsy's house. 10 minutes later, they have arrived at her house.

"Okay, so, where's the key?" Turquoise asked.

"Oh, I have it!" said Magenta.

"Why do you have it?"

Magenta shrugs as she has no idea why and how she has the key. She uses the key to unlock the door and walks inside with the other 3 following her.
