Chapter 18: Classified Plan

A couple of hours have passed as Chloe have finished putting the Octoling shades on all sanitized.

"There," said Chloe. "That's the last of them.

"Nice job, darling," Scarlet replied.

"Alright. That's everyone we captured, right?" Chloe asks.

"Not sure yet. But we'll find out once Zena confirms it," Scarlet replied.

Chloe nods but seems like she is feeling a little concern about something.

"Is something the matter, darling?" Scarlet asks.

"Huh?" Chloe looks at Scarlet. "Oh. Well, no but..."

"Yeah?"

"Well, Tailsy is taking a while to put the Hypnoshades on Luci and I feel like...she let her go or something."

"Now, why would she do that? I mean she is loyal to us."

"Is she really? I suggest we should check just in case."

"I suppose so."

Both Chloe and Scarlet begin to walk towards where Luci was held. However, once they got there, they discover that Luci nor Tailsy was there.

"Oh, no. She didn't," said Chloe.

"I can't believe it...," said Scarlet. "Did she...actually just set her free as well as herself?"

Chloe thinks for a moment.

"I hope not. Zena wouldn't so happy to hear about this."

"Wait a minute," said Scarlet. "Maybe they're in Tailsy's room?"

"Seriously?"

"Have a better idea on where they are, darling?"

"Fine. Let's go."

Both Chloe and Scarlet walk towards Tailsy's room. Chloe knocks on the door.

"Hello? Tailsy? Are you in your room?"

Scarlet knocks on the door as well.

"Tailsy, darling? Can you open up the door? We need to talk to you about something."

"Might as well just open the door since she isn't responding due to the fact that she's hiding from us."

Chloe opens the door and walks inside with Scarlet following her shortly after. Once they're inside, they discover something. Both Tailsy and Luci are fast asleep with Luci hugging her.

"Aww," both Chloe and Scarlet said.

"I do have to admit. That is kinda adorable," said Scarlet.

"Yeah but she was supposed to be wearing Hypnoshades," Chloe replied. "Zena will be very mad if she sees this."

"How about not tell her about this?"

"What? Are you crazy?"

"They probably be awake before she knows what actually happen."

"I don't want to get in trouble because I lied."

"Just this once, darling."

Chloe sighs.

"Alright, fine. But I will be blaming you from this," she said as she exits out.

"Chloe. Sometimes, you don't trust me at all," Scarlet replied as she exits out shortly after, closing the door.

"That's because most of the time, we get in trouble and it is mainly your fault."

"Now, now, darling. Let's not play the blame game. Besides, we don't have time for this."
