Splatoon Rise of Sanitization

Chapter 21: Departure

It has been 3.5 weeks since the last major battle against the OctoStrike as well as since Taisly had sacrificed her life to save Inkopolis from total sanitization. Since then, Inkopolis has been back to normal with Inklings and Octolings hang with each other as well as some doing some Turf War.

During the afternoon, Magenta walks into Ammo Knights as she needs to see Luci for something.

"Luci? Are you here?"

Luci comes out from the back of the shop as she is wearing the Record Shop Look EP.

"Yeah, I'm here. Something you need?" Luci asks.

"Well, yeah," Magenta said as she takes out her Dualies.

"You see. My Dualies doesn't seem to fire properly and sometimes, it doesn't shoot at all. I was hoping if you can fix them."

"Oh, no problem," said Luci. "Hand them to me. I'll fix it for you."

"Thanks!" Magenta said as she hands the Dualies to her so she can fix them.

While Magenta waits for her Dualies to be fixed, Roxy walks in.

"Thought you'll be here," she said.

"Oh, hey, Roxy!" Magenta said with a smile on her face.

"Getting your Dualies fixed, huh? That's great! Though, it was a shame you turn down the offer of continuing being the leader of SplatAce and instead, you let Bina be the new leader."

"I was excited on being the new leader months ago. I was fun back then but after thinking a lot, I feel like I wouldn't do such a good job as being the leader. I thought I would mess up and make SplatAce be worse as I'm not really that good. Plus, I am with Team Hurricane before I joined the Woomy Empire 2 years ago so there's that. But don't worry! I'm still part of SplatAce regardless! Though, I'll be focusing more on my team, but I'll be happy to attend the training sessions," Magenta said. "Plus, you are the assistant of SplatAce."

"True," said Roxy. "I thought it would be cool to be the assistant of SplatAce. It isn't so bad so far. Speaking of which, Bina wants to see you. Can't say what she wants with you since all she said was to find you and go see her. I think it's something secretive. Not sure exactly. I'd suggest you go see her now."

"Oh, alright. I'll go see her as soon as my Dualies are done," Magenta said.

"Fair enough," Roxy replied.

A few moments later, Magenta's Dualies has been fixed thanks to Luci.

"Here you go, Mags! All fixed!" Luci said as she gives them back to her, smiling.

"Thanks again!" Magenta said as she pays for the repairs. "I'll see you guys later."

"See you soon!" said Luci and Roxy as Magenta walks out of the shop.

Meanwhile, Bina was at SplatAce's training arena, waiting for Magenta to arrive there. Eventually, Magenta arrives there and notices her.

"Hey, Magenta! Glad you can come," said Bina, smiling as she lowers her bandana a little so Magenta can understand her a little more.

"Hey, Bina!" Magenta said. "Roxy told me to see you."

"Yeah, I do want to see you. It's about something you need to know first before the others."

"Oh? What is it?"

"You see...throughout these past 3 weeks, I've been keeping something a secret. I didn't tell anyone yet until the time is right to say it which is right now which is you."

"What do you mean? What are you keep secret off?" Magenta asks.

"Well, look over there."

Bina points behind her. Magenta looks behind and notices someone. It was Tailsy. Though, she was really badly injured, she is Inkling/Octoling (Depends on the reader's decision), is wearing a different clothing, and her eyes are different such as red color on one eye (likely due to what happened earlier) and blue on the other.
