Chapter 12: The Adventures of Magenta the Firefly Squid II - Octolings Strike

After a while, Magenta finally arrives at House Party Station. Upon landing, she was thinking a lot about what to do on the situation and finally decides.

"Okay...so, once I'm escape this place and find Tailsy, I am going to ask if we can have a talk in private and talk about why she did this because I need an actual answer from her."

She lets out a small sigh.

"I still can't believe she did all this. I thought she was the squid I always wanted to be...I called her senpai in both watching her on TV before I moved to Inkopolis Square and doing my training with her...I just hope she isn't planning what I think she is planning..."

She looks around for a bit.

"And what is this place?"

She then spots another launch pad right in front of her. She shrugs before walking towards it and using it to superjump towards the area that was nearby. Once she landed, she starts to look around.

"What in the world is this place?"

She walks towards the edge.

"Well...that's a wrap if I fall..."

Then, out of sudden, the spots where the Sanitized Octosnipers were at opened, but instead of the octosnipers, it's the sanitizes Octolings and Inklings each wielding a different charger. Magenta notices them.

"Oh, carp..."

They all take aim.

"There she is. The one who escaped back in Labyrinth Station. Take her down!" said one of the sanitizes which they all start to fire. Magenta quickly dodges all the shots and tried to fire back but had no luck because they were out of range.

"Oh, no..."

She backs away a little, only to get shot by another charger which left her surrounded in red sparks.

"I'm a goner now..."

Fortunately for her, her special is now ready to use. Before she uses her special, she first tried to hide or avoid getting hit until she is fully recovered. The sanitizes start to aim their chargers at her and began firing once more but missed every shot. After a few seconds, she is in full recover and can now use her special.

"Alright!" she said. "Time to take them down."

She uses her special, but it is a different one this time which is the Inkstrike.

"Huh? What is this?"

She then looks at her right hand which she is holding a pad.

"Wait a minute...is this...the Inkstrike? Booyah! Now, we're talking!"

She uses the pad to target a specific area, in this case, one of the sanitizes. The inkstrike then gets launched and towards one of the sanitizes, creating a large tornado of ink upon contact, resulting in a splat. Afterwards, it forms a mushroom-like cloud in the shape of a rose.

"Wha- I never seen an Inkstrike do that before. Hmm, this must be a new model then. Well, no worries right now. I got sanitizes to splat!"

It went really well for the rest of the time but when it came to splat the last sanitize, she was fresh out of inkstrikes.

"Oh, dang...I don't have any more...what do I do now?"

Magenta quickly looks around, hoping to find something useful to help her. However, she had no luck.

"Wait a minute..."

Magenta gets her splat bomb.

"Let's see if it's possible."
