Chapter 9: Hotel's Sanitization

It has been approx.  2 months since the incident had occurred. It was late morning as someone was starting to wake up and that was Turquoise.

"Ugh...my head."

She said as she began to be fully awake.

"Where are we...?"

She started to look around and realized that she is still at New Albacore Hotel.

"We're still here...?"

She looks around and realized that she is all alone.

"Uh...guys?"

She stands up and looks around once again.

"Okay, you guys. Joke is over. You can come out now."

She would laugh nervously. However, nothing.

"Guys? This isn't funny...come out now..."

She slowly started to get scared as she saw no one was nearby.

"Guys...? Are you really here...?"

Nothing. This upsets her.

"Did I...lost them...? I hope not...I can't survive on my own...even if I could, I could mess up."

She quickly thought of something.

"Oh, yeah! That's right! I can call them and ask where they are!"

She quickly takes out her phone tries to call one of them.

"Come on [insert name] ...pick up..."

Unfortunately, they didn't answer back.

"Oh...so that means..."

She immediately imagines of the others getting killed at the exact moment.

"Waitwaitwaitwait...they can't be dead if they are together. So that means...they were knocked out like me!"

She let out a small sigh in relief.

"Oh, thank cod. I'd get really upset if they were dead. They're important to me."

However, that got interrupted because she heard something.

"Huh? Who's there...?"

Then, she heard footsteps.

"Uh... [insert name]? Is that you?"

She started to walk forward and starts to look around once more.

"[insert name]? Come on now... come out now. It's not funny..."

What she saw was an Octoling but a sanitized one.

"Oh no..."

The sanitized Octoling aim her Octoshot and started to shoot her. Turquoise quickly went into cover and then throws in a Curling Bomb. However, the sanitized Octoling get out of the way.

"Damn it...that didn't work..."

She thinks for a moment.

"What if..."

She quickly turns into her octo form and sinks in her ink. The sanitized Octoling continues to shoot and then charges forward, looking for her. Unfortunately, she couldn't find her. She comes close to where Turquoise was hiding. Once she was really close, Turquoise immediately turns back into her normal form and quickly swings her Hero Roller at the sanitized, splatting her.

"Got you!"

She looks forward and notices there are more.

"Uh-oh..."
