Chapter 11: The Adventures of Magenta the Firefly Squid

Meanwhile, deep underground, in the Labyrinth Station to be precise. There lies a certain squibb who has been passed out for quite some time. Eventually, the squibb who happen to be Magenta started to wake up.

"Ugh...my head...," she said as she slowly starts to sit up.

She shakes her head a little before looking around for a brief moment.

"Uh...where am I?"

She looks around some more before finally realizing.

"Wait a minute...am I...in the same place as before months ago...? Or days ago...?

"Hold on...what is today...?"

She whips out her squidphone and checks today's date.

"Hmm...April 6th, 14,020? Wait...it has been that long??? Wow..."

She then notices something as well.

"Where did...everyone go? Am I...alone?"

The squibb starts to get a little worried.

"Guys...? Where are you?"

She then stands up.

"Guys...? Are you here...? This is not funny. Come out now..."

Nothing. She is all alone. She let out a small sigh.

"I guess they're gone now...I'm all alone. Alone in this...place..."

She gets really upset as she looks around. She thought of something.

"Hold on...they can't be gone...unless they're not here and are somewhere else. That's gotta be it! Now, I just need to exit this...uh, place." She gave a shrug before starting to walk along the path, hopefully that she doesn't encounter any sanitizes. However, that didn't happen as she stops walking because she heard footsteps.

"H-Huh? W-Who's there?"

She slowly walks down the path before going against the wall. She slowly peeks around the corner to see what's down the path. What she saw was 2 sanitized Inklings wielding Bamboozler 14 on the top layer with 5 sanitized Octolings each wielding an Octoshot, Splattershot Jr., Splattershot, Squeezer, and N-ZAP '85 on the path.

(Oh, no...)

She stays hiding against the wall, not wanting to move forward because she's afraid that she would be taken out.

"I...I can't do this...," she said, sitting down, still leaning against the wall.

"I...just can't do this by myself..."

"Yes, you can," said a familiar voice.

"Huh?" Magenta looks around. "Who's there?"

She immediately started to have a flashback, way back when she first met Tailsy, back when she was training to become an Agent, at the same location.

"I just can't do this," said the Past Magenta. "It's too hard."

"No, it's not too hard," Past Tailsy replied who was wielding Firefin Splatterscope and a different clothing at the time. "You just gotta keep practicing."

"I can't...," she said as she drops her Splattershot Jr. "I don't even know why I followed you here."

"Hey, calm down. You can't give up that easily. I'm sure you can get better."

"How do you know?"

"Well, it's just that I was in your shoes."

"You were? I thought you knew all of this from the start."
