Chapter 10

"Let me walk you back Haeryn"

I hear him as he chase up to my speed.  I shook my head as I continue to walk.

'Jae, I can walk home alone.'

I sternly replied as he continues to walk beside me no matter how fast I tried to speed up my pace.

"Haeryn ah, I said I'm sorry for what happened last night! I really am! "

He grabs hold of my already swollen wrist and I wince right away, pushing him away from me.

'Look, Jae, this is what you did.'

I stop in track as I pull my blazer sleeve higher to show him my wrist. His eyes widened before his hands came forward again to hold onto my hand before rubbing my wrist gently.

'No, don't touch me. Jae, I don't want to be a couple anymore. Leave me alone.'

Pulling my hands away from him, I said sternly as I back away further from him.

"No, no, no, Haeryn ah...I told you, that was a mistake. I'm sorry please, just give me another chance to prove it!"

My eyes widened as he practically pounces on me before pulling me into another one of his hugs. Perhaps frightened if he will hurt me again, I immediately struggled to break free from him.

"She said, leave her alone"

The familiar voice came from my back. I was quickly backing away as Jae loosen his grip around me.

"You okay?"

I look up and see Park Seo Joon looking back at me as I stumbled into his body and I felt his hands gently hold my shoulders. I nodded as my gaze went back to Jae to make sure he isn't anywhere near me.

"We are just having a couple's quarrel. You shouldn't worry about us."

Jae tried explaining as he moves forward in an attempt to hold my hands.

"Haeryn, should I leave the two of you alone? "

He turns me around to face him, his gaze looking straight into mine. I hesitated as I turn my head away.

'I just want to be alone.'

I said aloud before pushing his hands away from my shoulders.

"I'll walk you home!"

Jae started saying again as he came forward again. Was he always this stubborn? I'm not sure who Jae really is anymore.

"Get lost."

My eyes widened in surprise as Seo Joon push Jae away and held onto my hands, pulling me away.
