Both of us remain silent during the car ride home after the security manage to control the crowd and his agency crew finally able to pull us out and away from the reporters and hastily announce the end of the conference.

Folding my hand across my chest, I turn my attention away to the scenery passing by. 

"I hope you are proud of your decision today"

He finally break the silence.

'I sure am, thank you.'

Shrugging his sarcastic remark off, I gave him a smug smile before turning my face back to the scenery.

"...Do you even know how the media will twist everything you just said earlier?"

His voice crack a little as he refrain his emotions from rising, his hand reach out to hold onto my wrist tightly.

'I obviously don't know anything'

I rebutted right away before giving him an angry glare, my voice quivered as I tried not to show anymore emotions than necessary.

"...What do you mean by that?"

His gaze soften a little when met with mine, but his grip still tight around my wrist.

'...Jae came to my apartment this morning.'

I hesitated before speaking again, I watch as his brows furrowed and I knew he already had a clue about where this is heading towards.

'He told me that you hired private investigators...'

Feeling his grip tighten on my wrist once again, I bit my lips tight to contain my expression. 

"Haeryn... I don't know where to begin and how to explain this to you...At first I just needed to know, any information about you after the first time we met...Then I couldn't stop my curiosity, I just wondered if we would make a good match. I thought I needed to find out more before I made the decision to look for you again. I know this is unfair to you, I'm so sorry. I didn't know how to come clean to you, then I missed the opportunity and I got afraid of what you might think and how you might react if you found out...I'm sorry Haeryn, I really am..."

My attempt to hide my smile obviously failed as he look at me, puzzled with my growing smile as he continue to apologize. 

'...to be honest, I was a little worried before this.'

Finally chuckling aloud, I cupped his face with my hands. He continue to look at me confused, maybe even wondering if I am really fine with what he just confessed.

'You know, you didn't know me at all. Not even after our first sex encounter... This whole time, it kind of bugged me a little. How you just came back for me without really knowing who I am at all... I wondered if I was just lucky to be the first girl to ever ask you for sex upright and that got you interested in me. So...I might sound as if I like the idea of it, but I really don't so don't you dare send any private investigators or guards to tail me ever again. But I am actually kind of glad you actually did investigate about me before coming back.'

An awkward silence fell between us after I finish speaking as he froze in his seat trying to make sense of what just happen. 

"...I don't know what your mind are made of Haeryn, but you are amazing"

When he finally made sense of it, he blink his eyes and his expression relaxed. Hugging me tight in his embrace, I smack his arm for that weird compliment.

'No more secrets, Park Seo Joon'

"No more secrets"

Warning him with a stern glare before hugging him back tightly.
