Chapter 20

'You're leaving tomorrow aren't you?'

Snuggling in bed naked, our gaze met as he stroked my hair. I recalled his seven days when checking in the hotel.

"I'll come as soon as I finish filming."

He manages a smile. Pulling me closer, I took a deep breath in to remind myself of his scent.

'How long will that be?'

Hugging him tighter I realize I'm already missing him just thinking about it.

"Three weeks..maybe a month? I'll call you"

'Okay'

Nodding against his chest, I shut my eyes closed as I listen to his heartbeat.

"Will you be okay? What if Jae hurt you again?"

He asks and I tilt my head to look at him.

'...Then you can be a superhero, fly here and save me from him'

I grin playfully before he smacks my head lightly.

'...hmm...I guess I'll just have to protect myself.'

I said after a moment of silence. Although I had no idea how will I do that I didn't think Jae will do any more harm.

"Why am I worried about you already?"

I hear him sigh and left a peck on my forehead.

'It's not like you can do anything, so just relax and go back to doing what you do best!'

Patting him softly on his chest, I lay on my back and watch the ceiling fan spin around. If anyone should be worried, it must be me. Am I even significant enough for him to want to come back here? Who knows he might regret it once he returns to Seoul.

"Oh, don't be mistaken...I can do plenty of things even while I'm away."

'Oh really? Like what?'

Chuckling I tilt myself up to give him another kiss.

"Well...you shouldn't be bothered about it. Plus, when you say what I do best, do you mean making love to you?"

'Hmm...is that what we are calling it now? Making love? ...well, I meant acting, but I guess you are pretty good at that too.'

I love it when he grins, and almost every time he did I couldn't help but grin at him.

"I'll take that compliment. And I just want to reassure you that you are amazing at it too."

'What? Acting?'

I ask innocently before he burst out laughing, pulling me closer back into his embrace.

"You Haeryn, you are amazing...I think that is why I'm falling deeper and deeper for you."

'You meant that?'

Breaking away from his embrace, I sat up and waited for his answer. I never quite get what is it that I did that made him want to be with me. As far as I'm concerned, I was just being desperately in love with him.

"You still don't believe me, do you?... I think we have a problem here."

I shrug my shoulder as he sat up to face me. Our gaze met as he holds my hands in his.

"You make sex humorous, adventurous, and sexy at the same time."

'......hmmm, that's a compliment?'

I raise my brow at him and he nodded.

"You are so straightforward you speak your mind so clearly, even when you want to have sex with me."
