Chapter 54

I was startled awake by my own ringtone in the car ride. Picking up the call half awake, I manage to moan a hello before getting to hear his panicky voice. 

"Haeryn, promise me you won't let what the media is saying get to you okay? I'll fix this I promise!"

I sat up right, confused to what he is saying. I must have slept through something very important.

'What is it? Media? What are they saying?'

"...the media found out about us. My agency is working through this now, you don't have to worry about it okay? I just need you to promise me that we will get through this together, Haeryn?"

'...how?...yes, of course we will get through this...Are you okay there? Will you be okay?'

"...yes...yes, we will be okay, I promise."

'Okay, let me know if there is anything I can do'

I scrolled through the web as soon as we end the phone call. My eyes widen as the search engine quickly showed that Park Seo Joon is trending the front page of all Korean media pages with headlines such as 'Actor Park Seo Joon caught dating with an unknown girl.', "Dispatch release dating photos of actor Park Seo Joon". 

Clicking in, my screen was immediately flooded with the photos of us holding hands and being intimate in the restaurant, malls and even in his car. My face was blurred out on all of them but clearly his face was shown in all the photos. I wince when I bit my lips to hard with the tension that is building inside me and scroll through to see that the comments section were flooded with negative messages.

Taking a deep breath, I decided to close the web page and send him a message to let him know I've read the news and  I'm alright. Noticing the ring on my finger as I send the message, I wonder if we could really walk out of this alright.
