5. Danger (Part 1)

I stood outside the school gate waiting for a taxi. Dien insisted on taking me home but I refused his offer. But I never know that it's pretty hard to get a ride in this place.

Few minutes passed, a blue van stopped in front of me and three masked men hauled me inside it.

"Hey! Get your hands off of me!" I screamed for help even if I know that no one will hear me at my state.

"Shut up or I'll put hole in that skull of yours," the one at my right said and put the gun against my head.

They stuffed me at the back of the van; blindfolded with tied my hands.

"What do you want? You can get all my stuff just let me go!"

"I said SHUT UP!" one of them shouted.

I am scared but I won't give them the privilege to see it. My urge to escape is much stronger than my fears.

God will help me.

I know that. I have to find a way.

I felt the van stopped with a halt and I could hear some commotions outside.

Is it the police? Maybe a by passer saw what happened and called 911.

Thank you Lord.

Moments passed when I heard the door slide open and someone reached out, pulling me outside.

I screamed, thinking that it's one of my kidnappers but I was wrong.

It's Dien.

He untied me and took off the blindfold. Carrying me in his arms, we passed by the unconscious kidnappers.

"Are they dead?" I asked as he started the ignition of his car. He then drove off the streets.

"No." he answered coldly.

"Thank, God." I sighed in relief then reached for my necklace.

"Are you always like that?" he asked stepping on the brake pedal.

"Like what?"

"A person who always worry about other people. Those men out there, they intended to kill you but then again, you thank your god because they're safe?"

"What's wrong with that? They also deserve to live."

"You're impossible!" he exclaimed then started the ignition again.

He drove me home and took off without a word the moment I stepped inside the house. I guess, he's really angry.
