Five Days Before Protocol Afton

"Oh, my stomach is, uh. What is the word for it?" I asked myself still watching Youtube on the computer. "Grumbling. Something that's causing my circuits to shake and rip apart just by your constant question for the past, what? Three and a half hours?" responded Hand Unit. "That's it. I really need food, and maybe a drink," I responded. "Not my problem, and you won't be one furthermore in the next couple minutes when it turns six," he responded. "It really does seem like time went by really fast, and I managed to ignore my hunger," I said. "Hunger? I don't see your energy levels depleted to nothing, just another word people use as an exaggeration," he responded. "Aren't I still hungry though? They mean the same thing," I asked. "They're related to the same topic, but are also completely different as well," he responded. "Still, at least the Coke helped keep me not thirsty. The food is another problem, which means I'll probably have to head to a store for... something," I said stopping myself. "What's wrong? Got yourself tongue-twisted for nothing except a blank thought," said Hand Unit. "It's... I rather not talk about it," I responded looking at the time on the computer, which read 'five fifty-six' on it. "Whatever. I don't have the capacity to process the limited information you have on your mind," he responded. "You don't have to be like that," I responded. "Well, I can't do a thing about retracting my response, can I? Besides, I thought you didn't mind not expressing to me what your concern was anyways," responded Hand Unit. "I don't. But you just act rude regardless," I responded. "If you're going to prove you can cry, by all means please do so. No one is here to stop you, and of course not me," he responded. "Fine. Whatever," I responded as I closed out of Youtube. "Tonight was lackluster anyways." "Now, you knowing that word surprises me for once," he responded. "Ok? And that interests you?" I asked. "Yes. And lucky for you since nothing these days surprises me," he responded. I got up from my seat, while walking over to the door and exiting it as I mad my way to the vent. "You know you can't leave yet," he said. "I know that. I'm not leaving yet," I responded reaching the vent and crawling through it. "You have exactly one minute left, so don't go running off, not anyways when you'll be crawling back to nowhere and coming back once more," said Hand Unit. "What's that supposed to mean?" I asked standing in the room. "This job. I tell you, I know why these security guards quit after their first day or only for a short amount of time. It's a chore, one that is never finished. You may not be human but this place will affect your mental health somehow, and it's not going to be because of the animatronics this time," he answered. "You may go home now. May as well relax while I have mine for about a day." I turned around as I got down and crawled through the vent behind me to the elevator. "So then what do you plan on doing for about a day?" I asked. "Nothing. Just relaxing like I would to do every minute I have," he responded. "That sounds kinda boring," I  responded. "Of course it is for you, but not me, thank god," he responded as I got out of the vent now. "Well. I guess see you tomorrow," I responded. "See you in this hell tomorrow, one we'll never escape," he responded as I walked in the elevator. "Uh. Yeah," I responded as I hit the button to close the doors and go up. "See you there later, I guess."

"Dollar Store, Dollar Store. There it is. Hopefully they have items I can buy for this week," I said to myself walking towards the store. As I walked up to the front doors, they slid open as I stopped and look at them before finally walking in. But even still I had to stop and watch the doors close on their own just to see how they really were. "Wow," I said before walking away now towards the aisles to look for something to buy to eat and drink. One of the aisles I had went down only seemed to have candy, though even with seeing the unlimited possibilities of it I had no desire to buy any at all. I walked down the hallway at the end, managing to end up at the back of the store now. However, I noticed there was a freezer at the end to the right of me, pointing towards the direction that there was a chance to get something good here. I walked over to the end to the right, all while I yawned at the time time. I already knew my lack of sleep was back, which I could tell during the last couple hours before I left the place and I needed to get sleep before I would have to leave again at twelve. I finally reached the freezer, opening the door for it to see what food was available: There were frozen hamburgers, frozen pizza, and other items that seems worth buying, though the pizza and the pizza were interesting. The pizza was made by a brand named "Red Baron," which didn't really matter to me, and it did have two in the box so it was worth it. I also grabbed two boxes of frozen hamburgers, before carrying all of them and walking away. However, I stopped to find a shelf that had huge Coca-Cola bottles in a basket, with some not even standing up. "Huh? Maybe I should've grabbed a basket when I had the chance," I said while taking all of the the Coke bottles out of it  except one. I put the rest of the items I had on me in the basket before walking back down the back aisle down to the left this time. "Now I gotta find snacks," I said while looking down every other aisle I saw to find one that had food for me. Down the aisles I looked towards, I would sometimes see someone looking for something here, though only a few since it was early in the morning. And the only thing I ever got back from them was a stare with everyone. Eventually, I stopped to see an aisle with shelves filled with snacks and other food, as I stopped to head down this way. There was one women at the middle part of the aisle, most likely looking for food, though she hadn't noticed me yet. And it wasn't going to be that way for long. I knew people here were going to freak out about me when they notice me, though I had to be ready for it. I looked towards the shelves while examining all the food that was new to me, hoping to find something I would like and would buy next time. The first thing that caught my attention was a box of things labeled "Goldfish" on it, something that was interesting enough to maybe buy. "They have a snack based on a fish? I guess I'll try out. Not unless it tastes like an actual goldfish though," I said while grabbing the box and putting it in my basket with the other items I had, while next turning to move on and find something else to buy. However, it had seemed me being here had already caused interest in someone here. The lady that was in the same aisle with me was now looking at me, almost like she had something bad. Instead she had seen now another world collide with theirs. "Hi!" I exclaimed trying to stop her fear, though I only raised it and her questions that she would have now. She only continued to stare, not letting herself get rid of her questions and to now be able to never forget me. I slowly walked away while looking for more food to grab, all while turning back to see still staring at me. It was like she wanted to be me, to become me to understand the nature we had. I turned back to hold and grab a bag of food called "pretzels" checking to see if it was something I was interested in. "I might try this," I said to myself while putting it in the basket and turning around to still see that lady looking at me. I was surprised she hadn't bothered to ask me any questions or have the will to say anything; guess not everyone is the same like others around them. I continued walking down the aisle, though I was stopped by something that I could not ignore. Doritos. And just by seeing a huge bag of it was enough to keep me back, allowing me to grab it immediately and put it in the basket. But as if that was something that felt like a gift, something else stood beside it that felt like I needed to buy it. There was a brand titled "Quaker" with a weird snack that showed it was made up of oats, chocolate, and things. I picked up the box, just to see the image of the food to see if it was interesting or not. It did however take me a moment to notice beneath the shelf it was on was a label that had "Granola Bar" for the category. "This definitely looks interesting. Just hope its good," I said while putting it in the crate as well. "That's good enough." I turned around to see the same lady had inched a little closer to me from the last time I had looked at her, as it showed how curious she was. "Uh. I'm an animatronic, just letting you know. But you know, robot is the term you people use to describe us today. I promise, I'm not here to harm anyone, I just want to live a simple life like most people dream of," I said finally saying something to tell her I was harmless. "And this city will probably be seeing me more often then expected, considering I know I am popular now. Hope you have a good day!" I finally turned around and walked towards the place where the checkout was now that I had found everything I needed for this week. "Wish this place had I clock, though I should get something that shows me the time anyways," I said to myself looking around the place for the time. I approached the space that was made for people to place and checkout their items, all while there was a guy behind it. He hadn't noticed me yet since he was distracted by what appeared to be one of those smart phones that Hand Unit mentioned were a distraction. "Good morning," I said placing my items on the black plastic rubber. My greeting finally me him turn and look at me, all while he showing he knew who I was already. "Holy shit. It's you!" he said. "Me?" I asked. "Yeah, you! Oh my god I heard about you from that company, uh, what was it? Dammit! What was it?" he responded. "Fazbear Entertainment?" I said. "Yeah, that was it!" he exclaimed back snapping his finger while pointing at me at the same time. "The company posted something about it on their Twitter yesterday and a friend told me about it before I came to work this morning. Oh man, this so cool! Can I take a picture with you, if you don't mind?" "Uh, sure," I responded as he walked around the counter and towards me while touching his phone, as he got ready to take a picture. "Alright. Smile," said the guy getting next to me while sticking out his phone, all while we both smiled. After a flash, he moved the phone back to him and moved away now while looking at the phone. "Thanks! Really is an honor to meet you. Wish I could talk to you but I gotta do my job before my boss fires me," said the guy walking back towards the counter he was behind, as he pressed a button that started to move the rubber that I had placed all my items on. "Glad I got something to show my wife and daughter. They'll probably either think I'm crazy or smart to find a robot living with us now. No offensive of course," he said using a weird thing for the stuff. "None taken," I responded. "Oh yeah! Weren't you involved in that gas station robbery that place yesterday morning as well?" he asked. "Yes. Unfortunately," I responded. "I'm sorry man. A shame that guy was killed, heard he also had a wife as well that got a married to recently," he said as he put the last of the items in the bag. I looked up at him, almost surprised since I didn't he had one. 'He had a family, and now he's gone. All because someone wanted a money. Why can't I just let be at peace?' I thought "You going to pay right?" asked the guy behind the counter. It took me a moment to realize where I was, as I grabbed my debt card. "Oh! Yeah. Sorry," I responded putting it in the machine that was in front of the guy. "No worry's man. I can't imagine how his wife is after his murder, my wife would be devastated in that type of situation if that happened to me. There would be no way they could crawl out of the damage and only end up nowhere with their guilt," he said as I pulled the card out now. "Alright! Thank you for coming today! Maybe other besides me will see what you do with your life." "Thanks," I responded as I grabbed the bags and walked away. 'He has a wife. And now she's going to never forget what happened to him or even come back from the void he left behind,' I thought. 'And I'm going to be only one who really feels for the treatment this world gave to him... I'm going to be only one to know what he felt when he was murdered.'
