Four Days Before Protocol Afton
"Damn. Where is Fredbear at?" I asked as I looked around the main room. "Hell if I know man. He always be disappearing for hours at a time, only to return with no explanation," responded Freddy, as he placed down a blue nine card in the pile of other cards we had. "You want a fourth for Uno?" asked Funtime Foxy. "No. I need to apologize for the way I acted to him included last night. He deserves it," I responded. "Where haven't you checked, man? There's no possible way he ain't around," said Freddy. "I haven't checked the area where we're building our city at. I never got the chance to check out that location, due to my desire to find the both of you first," I responded. "What's odd as well, is that Mangle isn't around either." "Great for me. She could disappear into mist for all I care," responded Freddy. "You go check it out. Me and Funtime Foxy will continue this game ourselves, considering RXQ's ass hasn't shown back up yet." "I'll let you know if I find the both of them at any point before I return," I responded as I got up from my seat and started to head towards the right hallway. "If you find RXQ, tell him to give me the first Godfather movie and bring it to me!" called out Freddy as I walked away from the table he and Funtime Foxy were seated at. "Will do!" I called back out as I walked through the hallway now. I was at the point now where I was eager to talk with Fredbear, considering with what had happened last night. He was a close friend and deserved to receive the amount of appreciation I gave back to him. I reached the end of the hallway and turned to the right to walk inside the room, only to find Mangle standing at the door and guarding it. It had been only close to an hour since I had last been present in this area, and yet Mangle was back; guarding the door towards the outside. She clearly noticed me walk in, as I approached her, all while she gave off her lifeless stare she always had. Freddy was right, she indeed at times seemed something else, it was like she was hiding the anger inside out she had for everyone here, waiting to unleash it when the time was right. "Is Fredbear around?" I asked as I stopped inches away from her. "Please step away right now. You are not authorized to be present around this area," she spoke firmly at me. "I'm just asking where he is? Is he outside currently?" I asked. "Step away and exit the room immediately," she repeated as if her mind was based in circuits and a repeating pattern. "I just need to know where he is. That's it. Now can you answer my question?" I responded. "Exit the room, right now," she responded as she got closer to me, close enough that I could feel her presence almost reaching me. "Or else what, bitch!" I exclaimed randomly without my control. 'Wait! I didn't say those words! That's the other mind!" I pleaded insuring she wouldn't take action for my uncontrolled outburst. "Or else, I will insure you are never a disturbance again. Including that bad side of yours," she responded. "Oh yeah?" asked my other side, which seemed to be aggressive and present around this time. Without notice, she pushed me hard enough to hit the wall behind me, as she got up in my face while holding me against the wall with both hands. "Or else, you'll never see the light of day again,"she responded. Without hesitation, she punched me in the face while letting me go, allowing me to fall on the ground from the pain. I held my face from the stinging that consumed my face, all while I could feel her presence towering over me like the dominant one. "You really are a bitch," said the other mind, as lifted my hand away from face and looked at her. Out of nowhere, my hand balled into a fist, as it struck her in the face instantly. She tumbled from the blow, only to regain her ground. All while I rose from the ashes of triumph she desired to claim for herself. "Hit me again! Huh, fucker?!" exclaimed my other side. "Don't do it! I didn't mean to!" I exclaimed in an attempt to ease the situation. "Oh I fucking want to kick her ass," responded my other side. Suddenly, my legs started to move at a fast pace, all while jumping on Mangle and punching her as hard as my other mind wanted to. "This is my hell! And I ain't sharing it bitch!" exclaimed my bad side while continuing to punch her, all while she attempted to block the punches the best she could. She managed to kick me in the stomach, all while making me land on my back hard before getting on top of me and getting ready to strike. As soon as she was ready to unleash her fury the sound of the door to the outside opening caught both of our attention, revealing it was Fredbear who was at the door now. "Stop this, right now!" he exclaimed with an assertive tone to his demand. Mangle finally got off me, allowing me to rise from the ground and back up on my feet, all while she proceeded to do the same. "What is the meaning of this incident?" he asked walking up to the both of us. "We both lost control..." I responded. "...She pushed me against the wall in response to me asking where you were currently at, resulting in one of the minds from taking control and attacking her in response," I responded explaining the situation in detail. "Is this what occurred in sequence?" asked Fredbear turning to look at Mangle now. She only stood in silence, not allowing herself to condone a response. "Mangle. I will ask again. Is the information he claimed accurate?" he asked again. "Yes," she responded firmly, allowing no repent or remorse in her voice. "Leave us. Your position here will be discussed later," he responded. She only stared as a response, finally turning around and exiting the office now. But even the weight she had carried with her was still tainted in this room, including the weight I had just felt a moment ago. "I appreciate you detailing the events that occurred with honesty. You did the right thing," he said breaking the tension at last. "I didn't want it to happen... I didn't want to harm her..." I responded. "We both know you didn't intend to wish harm upon her, and rightfully she didn't deserve it. But that doesn't mean what she enacted will be forgiven ever so slightly," he responded. "Freddy was right. She was something else. She hid her preferred nature from the inside out; locking away any hint of the kind of person she really was, and my vision of her was something she used to shield herself with." "...I could've harmed her to point where I could've potentially killed her. I was on the verge of it at the very least," I responded. "I'm nearing the point where I have one mind that could have complete control of my body with the free will he's given himself. I can't prevent it from obtaining control when it wants. I have to take responsibility for what it does now. Nobody's going to do it for me." "What matters is you're still here. Even after the tragedy and discovery of these news, you continue to strive to make up the lose of humanity you've lost, only to regain it and replace the one lost,"responded Fredbear. "Thanks. I never got the chance to say this, considering this whole event was triggered by my search for you. But thank you. You've really done enough to make this feel like home and encourage me to regain the faith I lost, after everything that has happened since I've been placed in this world. You earned the title of being a leader with good qualities that make up your authority," I said. "Just don't forget, you have the chance to improve your methods and extend the rules and restrictions you have in place." "I've learned enough to know how to simply run a society, not how to build one. And everyday, I learned more from the people that live under the same roof as everyone else. I owe you nothing but your trust you chose to place in me," he responded. "And I couldn't be more thankful. It's best I leave to allow you to deal with Mangle yourself," I responded as I started to walk out of the room, though not before stopping to turn back and look at him. "Just take this into consideration: When I reach the point where I can't control the power the other mind has over me, do what must be required for this society to live on without any interference that will be it's destruction. I'm already a possible factor that can destroy the future I very much created for this society."
