Three Days Before Protocol Afton
"This is how you type. You can spell words and questions out so the internet can search what you are asking to find for yourself," I said with Springbonnie at me side, all while I pointed at the keyboard. "You understand?" "Yes," responded Springbonnie who couldn't stop looking at the keyboard. "Good. If you want, you have the chance to look up anything you want right now," I suggested. "Alright," responded Springbonnie as I moved away from the front of the computer and Springbonnie took my place. He typed something very slowly, almost taking about a minute to type it all in; I had the same trouble when I first learned how to type, and I still have constant trouble. Though it is rewarding once mastered. Finally, he was done and proceeded to to hit the 'enter' button by usage of the mouse, all while I peeked my head over to see what it was he had chosen to take interest in. The only question he had decided to type in was 'what is the world,' and I couldn't blame him, it was one of the many questions I would have upon being put in this world. It already was one when I took my first breath here. "If you'll excuse us, me and Saber have to discuss beneficial ideas on something of dear importance to the both of us," said Hand Unit out of nowhere. "Ok," responded Springbonnie turning to look at the ceiling for a second, before turning back to look at the computer. I walked out of the room as a means to speak in private, and upon exiting the room I found Ennard standing lifeless at the end of the hallway. "I see you've managed to construct enough reassurance into getting Springbonnie to learn from you," said Hand Unit's voice, forcing me to look up at the ceiling. "Hell yeah. I just don't understand why you've chosen to keep quiet from most of the time I've been teaching him," I responded. "I rather not take part in the teachings of someone unfamiliar to me. Excluding of course the shaded past and existence of him," answered Hand Unit. "Time has already expressed the grey area of the value this world has for the suit. Even the past of it remains tainted from the events it has been through," "Tell me then. It can't be too shitty to hear," I responded. "If you say so. During the early days of the first Freddy Fazbear Pizzeria's and the one's that followed after, someone took an interest in harboring a grim idea of murdering children that were present at the pizzeria. Five kids were killed during the first and only month the pizzeria had to breath a single speck of air, resulting on the closure of it, and with it even repeating every first step it took. The following fours years that took place after it's closure, another pizzeria was opened, and which resulted in an enactment of hell to commence once more. Four more children were killed, ending that's pizzeria's reign of attraction until the next one that opened four years after that one. And the cycle repeated again, as more children were killed at that pizzeria, and which ended it's life cycle included," explained Hand Unit. "The identity of the killer was never identified, considering he kept it hidden by using the old Springbonnie suit, since the company decided it was best to leave it intact at every pizzeria, rather than destroying it or transferring it to their headquarters. There was enough evidence however to point towards the killer's full methods and exploit them to their fullest, which was then pieced together on how they worked fully and accurately: Thus the murderer somehow was able to bait and lure children into the private rooms that employees were allowed in, and killing them with no second thought for the sake of it. A trend that still has the grim meaning it was given." "How the fuck did he get a hold of the suit? Wouldn't have someone seen him or noticed him luring children into area's away from adults?" I asked. "The company decided it was best to keep the suit in every back room and maintenance room available at every location, a decision that could've prevented the outcome of the many deaths of innocent children. I could never configure as well a full explanation on how no one saw the person responsible for using the suit, my best guess was the murderer knew well enough to not be noticed and get a hold of the suit easily. He knew how to keep his distance away from getting caught or seen at times; he knew what he was doing well enough that nobody to this day still can't identify who he was. Only a few people saw him, and they were the lucky one's to further support the murders and who had caused these events," answered Hand Unit. "It wasn't until the beginning of this year where our latest incarnation of a pizzeria was transformed into a horror attraction, named 'Fazbear's Fright' to appeal to a different audience and regain the favor of those who abandoned it's flawed history. Lucky for those that wished for its legacy to burn away from existence, they got the little satisfaction for just a moment. The pizzeria was burned to ground; claimed the cause was 'faltered wiring' as an excuse, though I like to think the company is hiding away the true cause from the public, even anyone really associated with the company. And that lead me to believe the suit was burned along with the company. Seems fate wants this rotting suit to be be apart of this declining franchise." "Do you think the murder is still alive and hid the suit here to use it again when the pizzeria opens this Saturday?" I asked. "I believe so. Not everyone has to rest their habits aside for good, and the murderer is no exception. Whoever he is seems to be bound to using the suit to his advantage, though considering it is alive and functioning I doubt he can set his plan into motion once more. The problem that hinders anything from importance is how this entity functions properly. And I haven't been able to conform the identity of the body that is apart of his suit. And I doubt it's simple to pull it out of him." "So I guess we have to let him stay with us until we figure out who's body is in him. Then what?" I mentioned. "In time, we'll find a conclusion to settle on. I think it's time to return to him, as to insure he hasn't had the time tp discovered things we wish for him to not have knowledge of yet," said Hand Unit. "Ok. But what about the information you just mentioned? Do we tell him?" I asked. "Not yet. His mind is not developed enough to comprehend the information, in time we'll tell him when it is right. Even if the results display a distrustful view of us," he responded. "Let's hope so," I responded as I walked back to the office and walked in; finding Springbonnie on the computer with his attention towards it still. "You find anything you like?" I asked stopping and turning to view what was on his screen. I was a little bewildered at the question he had decided to type in, since it was something I hadn't expect him to search for.
What am I?
He turned to look at me directly with his eyes not unlocking, repeating the question that seemed to overtake his mind as of right now.
"What am I?"
"Uh. You're like me! A living robot called animatronics at this moment, somehow. I don't know the full extent of what you are but you're most certainly like me, I can state that for sure," I said trying to answer his question. He looked away for a moment before turning to look back at me the same way he did a moment ago.
"What is my purpose?"
"Ah! Uh. Um. Shit..." I said having trouble coming up with a proper answer for him. "Look. I don't know your full purpose, but that's up to you to figure out and discover." "How do I find it?" he asked. "Well. You find it I believe through the time you're here and what you learn. Besides, I think our purposes can change at any moment in time," I responded. "Like for me; my purpose right now is for you to understand and repeat the first steps I took when I was gifted into this world. Only, I know it'll change when that task is completed. Even I don't have the answer to my true purpose of roaming the world."
