One Week Before Protocol Afton
"Hey! You awake?"
The sound of someone's voice near me was the first sight of noise I had heard, something that belonged to whoever was trying to wake me up.
"Hello? Wake up!"
I jumped up immediately from the pound of someone hitting me, looking around anxiously to see someone in front of me. From the way this person looked, I could easily tell they were a robot. But even I couldn't figure out how I knew that. This person was a bunny; they were white, except for their chest that was red and the lines and patterns on their arms and legs. "Well someone is probably having a wet dream," they said. "W-Who are you? Are you a girl? Where am I?" I asked looking around. I noticed I was in a room filled with robot parts, wires, and tools, most likely being in a room made for creating robots. "What? You've never seen a girl before? Well, technically you haven't until now," she said. "The names Star Cluster." She stuck out her hand for me to shake, as I grabbed it and shook it. "You mean like the things in space?" I asked. "Well... I don't know, that's the name I was given by Afton," she responded. "Who?" I asked. "You sure as hell want to know already. Though it's kinda the typical thing someone in your scenario would ask," she responded. "I guess I sure as hell do want to," I responded. "Your name is Saber. Saber the Bunny. At least some people have some creativity left in this world. But all it does is remind me of is Star Wars." she responded. "What's a Star Wars?" I asked. "Well, you sure as hell need to get into it," she said to herself while moving her head to the side. "I guess I sure as hell have to," I responded. "I explain it later. Right now I have to show you where you're at before I become classified as a kidnapper," she responded as she walked over to a door and opened it, as she turned to me. "C'mon!" I walked over to the door slowly as she let me walk through first, giving me a glimpse at the world I was living in. All around was an open area, as all I could see was machinery and robots. This place was made up of technology. "Welcome to our world. Though out there is the real world," said Star Cluster walking up to the side of me. "Can't take one step on this soil of this world without saying "hello" to it." "Ok," I responded as she started walking, while I followed behind her. "Anyways, this shit is 'Aftons Robotics Factoy,' the primary source of production behind all animatronics," she said. "Animatronics?" I asked confused on the term. "Fuck. Forgot to add that with the list things to had to your chip," she responded. "What?" I asked as we continued walking down beside the amounts of conveyor belts and parts that belonged to these "animatronics." "You got a chip that holds all your memories, knowledge, everything. You lose that or it gets destroyed, you lose yourself," responded Star Cluster. "Well. Unless someone activates a hard reset on you, but when the hell are you going to have to use it? Anyways, you have most of the knowledge required to get through life. The rest you'll learn on your own." "Ok. But what's the point of building animatronics?" I asked. "The point is we use this shit to incentivise and increase the profit earned from the creation of these animatronics, and we increase business once they start selling like video games. And what do you get? An idea," she answered. "And what idea did Afton come up with? A pizzeria. To entertainment children. Fucking swear to god." "That sounds nice," I responded. "Well, maybe to you but not me. I was built to work the machines and ship off most of the animatronics here on the weekend. Except during the week when the workers come in and all I get to do is observe their progress," responded Star Cluster. "Though all I do all day is watch porn." "What's porn?" I asked. "Heh, heh. It's best your curiosity doesn't fuck you in the ass," she responded as we reached the door. "Don't want to end up like me." She opened the door as she walked in, while I followed behind her. I could tell this room was an office; there was a desk with a chair behind it, pictures in frames on the desk, shelves included in this room, and paperwork scatter across the desk. "Is this your office?" I asked looking around. "Well, technically its William's. But he lent it to me. Permanently" she responded setting in the chair and opening one of the drawers. "You mean Afton?" I asked. "Yeah. William Afton," she responding stopping to look at me before she continued to look through the drawers. I could tell it was hard for her to say his name, like she didn't like saying it at all. "Well, where is he?" I asked. "She stopped looking through one of the drawers as she completely sat straight up now on the chair. "Let's just say he isn't around anymore," she responded. "Did something happen to him?" I asked confused. "Well. To put it straight; he disappeared twenty-seven years ago randomly one day. There was no notice or evidence to determine what happened to him. So his assistant, Henry, took over the company and I was nominated to be second in command of the company, 'Fazbear Entertainment.' It was tough and a complete loss to the company, leaving us all devastated" she responded. "He created me. Though to be exact I was his last creation before he went missing. Though I was wasn't activated until twenty years by Henry, since he and the company were struggling to maintain their business. He had me deactivated and designed me to ensure I would be there to keep this company in stable condition if there would be a day where he wouldn't be with us anymore. Things changed from all those years ago. Because of William. If only I could go back and see him for once. Just once." "I'm. Sorry," I said feeling sorry for her now. "Nothing is going to change the past, but sometimes the past comes back to beat your ass for your mistakes. Hope he didn't make too many," said Star Cluster. "But then. Why am I here?" I asked. "Not to suffer, that's for sure," she responded as she grabbed something out of one of the drawers open, while she got up from the chair now. "But to explore the wonders of your shit world. And ours." She handed me a plastic card and a piece of paper as I took them from her, while I held it in the palm of my hand to see what they were. The plastic card was a debt card, and the piece of paper was an address, yet I didn't know why she would give them to me. "You're going to work alongside our company, and to start off you'll be heading to Utah to check up on one of our pizzeria's, Circus Baby's Pizza World," she said. "You're going to work alongside our company and be apart of our family. You get to have a damn life. No bullshit of course." I looked up now, as I had full attention on her now. "Oh. Well. That sounds actually kinda cool," I responded smiling. "It is. Now c'mon, you got a train to catch," she responded as she walked past me and out of the office. "Train?" I asked following her. "You're eight hours away if you plan on driving. Taking a train will minimize the amount of time it takes to get to where the pizzeria is," she responded as we walked past the machinery and towards a different door. "You're coming too right?" I asked as we both reach the end of the door while she opened. "It ain't my job to go watch your ass every minute, I'm pretty sure you can handle this without me," she responded as she walked in. "I don't know," I responded as I followed her in. "All the workers sent to all the pizzeria's have had no trouble without my supervision. What's the worst that can happen to you?" she responded. "That's the problem I guess. Anything can happen," I responded. "Well, I even if I wanted to go with you, I won't be able to since I have to stay here and manage this place. Taking one day off fucks everyone over and something gets screwed up here," she responded. "I've listed your assignments and tasks to complete on the back of the paper with the locations address. The debt card has about close to one millions dollars to sustain yourself, so don't waste it on a car or prostitutes. Oh! And I can't forget your pass for the train. Already got it for you." Star Cluster pulled a ticket out of one of her pockets, as she handed it to me. "Thanks. But will we see each other again?" I asked taking the ticket. "Maybe. Even if we do who knows whenever the hell that'll be, and that's if you have to have your ass trafficked, " she responded as we walked to what looked like the front entrance of this place. as we exited the building and to the outside. "Down a couple miles you'll find the subway that'll take you to Utah, so you should arrive by close to midnight," she said as she turned to face me. "Let me tell you this before you go. The world is cruel, unforgiving, and straight up shit. Including some people. Be wary of it, or else you'll turn out like me. At least try to go a route that doesn't make you fully a shit person." "Alright. I'll keep in mind to not be a shit person," I responded. "Great. Good luck," said Star Cluster. "Oh! And don't forget to watch all eight Star Wars movies. Episodes one through three are alright, except three which is good. Episodes four through six are really good and are the best Star Wars movies. Rouge One was alright and episode seven was also alright. And also watch the Star Wars The Clones Wars show and movies. Both are dope. And Star Wars Rebels is starting to get better so watch that as well. Watch them on Netflix or buy it on Blu-ray." "Thanks," I responded. "Oh yeah! Also buy yourself an Xbox One and get some games. The best one I can recommend is Halo: The Master Chief Collection, even though its fucking broken. And buy a headset," she continued. "See you whenever." She walked away and back into the building, leaving me behind and for good until the next time we would meet. The bright lights of the city from afar looked pretty, almost like a place that would let everyone it was safe. But it would only be a matter of time to see what the world would offer me in return. "Well Star Cluster, I guess I can finally say it now," I said to myself. "Hello, world."
