Three Days Before Protocol Afton
In the blink of an eye, I was greeted with the sight of grass I landed on. I took a moment to look around the area I was dropped in, seeing nothing but a city all around me. I turned to the sound of laughing, as I could see two kids at a playground, all while two parents were watching them at a bench they were seated at. It was almost a miracle to see kids outside these days, considering it was a rare sight to behold. Surprisingly, I didn't see Mangle anywhere, which meant she had left already to wherever destiny would take her to. The question was whether she did deserve a new life, like me. I started walking towards the street that was a couple feet from me, as I could see people walking among the streets they belonged in. There was no way I could hide from them, let alone live with them. And I was not about to live off of eating trash, nor live homeless. I had to adjust my life here, if I even could. I reached the sidewalk and waited for the couple cars that passed by, all receiving what I had expected. Everyone's face who were in the car that passed by was confusion and horror, unsure of what they were looking at. Once I had reached the other side of the street, I redirected my attention to the nearby shops and places in order to find a place to eat. I did not have an appetite this morning, and it had returned to take its place as another problem. The many glances of people that were around only continued when I passed by them, only for it to be more present as I continued my unforeseen path. Finally, I saw the large sign for a 'McDonald's' at the corner in front of me, knowing I had to stop at this location for food. Even though I had heard its food wasn't the best quality, I had to stop here mainly because I needed access to the internet with my phone, considering I had no data because of me being in this world. As I reached the side of the place, I continued my way by going into the parking lot, rather than entering the side door I had just passed. I had to create some money for myself, in order to actually pay for my food. I had never bothered to make myself some money, mainly because I thought I would never use it for anything, at least until our society was created. Once I was near the front door, I stopped and stood inches away from it, just so I wasn't blocking the door if people were to leave or enter. Already, I knew this was going to make a bad impression on everyone around; and the idea and visual of the shadow of an animatronic standing outside of McDonald's, all while doing something that would be considered witchcraft was not something you would wish to see before lunch. I closed my eyes and started to focus all my thoughts and attention on the visual of money; fixating all the details as well on to make the money real. The clear vision of a stack that involved exactly fifty twenty dollars bills was clear enough that it was almost touching my finger tips. Finally, I opened my eyes; revealing the stack of money that was resting in my hands now, which was enough for me to smile. "Thank god these powers can save me for the time being," I said, as I put the stack of cash in my right pocket. This was one of the few times I had used my pockets for something, since I've never had a reason or anything to use them for except carry my or Freddy's phone. Being in this world was different than the one I was raised in, like it was the next step in life. This was the next world for me, though whether it was the last wasn't clear yet. I pushed the left door open, as I walked towards the left to where the seats and station to order was. There wasn't many people settled in this place for food, as I only spotted about three people so far as I turned the corner for where the station to order was. There was a guy that appeared to be middle aged, who was in front of the counter to the right, while a young women that appeared to be in her early twenties who was taking the man's order And to her left was another guy behind the counter who looked to be in his mid-twenties, all but standing bored and lifeless from their jobs. It didn't take long for all the three people mentioned to turn and face me, as I approached the order station on the left. Their faces were filled with the cleanest sight of confusion and horror I had seen so far, just by how they were position and facing me now. "Hey," I responded as I stopped in front of the counter. "Uh... Um," tried to say the guy who couldn't get his words out. "Look. I know this is hard for you to process, but I'm harmless alright?" I said clarifying his concerns for me. "I'll take water and the Big Mac meal, please. This is for here, by the way. And that'll be all." "Uh, um. Uh, yeah. That'll be... eight thirty-six..." said the guy, as I pulled out a fifty dollar bill and handed it to him. He grabbed it lightly, which I could tell by how it almost slipped out of his hand when he jerked his hand back towards him. He typed in the order and set the money in the cash register, all while the receipt was printing to his right and collecting my change included. Once he was done, he grabbed the receipt and money, finally handing them to me. "Your order will be served when ready," said the guy once he was done handing, while I put those items in my pocket. "Thank you," I responded as I turned to the area where they would deliver prepared food when ready. I didn't bother to look at the guy who had finished his order, as he passed by me and stood behind a wall that separated this area between the area of tables behind it. Seeing these people bewildered by my presence was expected, as was the reactions I have received so far. This was something I had to live and deal with. I pulled out my phone, which was already turned on from earlier when I was testing it out this morning, as I made my way to the network settings to put in the password for it. I turned to my right, all but noticing the sign for the password that was to my side the whole time. My will to observe was not present during this time, none of my feelings were. Once I was done typing in the password, I made my way to the browser, only to stop my finger that was ready to type something in. I had no idea of where to go or what to do; I didn't have all the requirements to navigate through this world I was stuck next to now. "Hi!" I looked up from my phone, finding the face of two kids standing in front of me, as I put my phone in my pocket. One was a little girl that looked to be maybe seven, and the other a boy that appeared to about ten at the very least, both waiting for a response. "Are you from the new Freddy Fazbear's Pizza?" asked the boy. "Uh. Yeah. Why?" I asked making up a response. Fredbear did mention we all originated from animatronics, designed to entertain at several pizzeria, which I had forgotten about. Maybe there was somewhere were I could call home. "Hi! I see you've met my children," said a man approaching me now, who appeared to be in his mid thirties. "They're big fans of the pizzerias, do you mind if they can take a picture together?" "No fucker! What does it look like a damn circus! Fuck off!" my bad side exclaimed suddenly. The kids looked horrified from my outburst, and the dad even appeared to be stunned from what happened. And all I could do was stare at influence of view these people would see from me now. "I-I'm sorry. Really-" "Let's go children," said guy finally pushing his kids away from me as they walked away, all while the dad continued to look at me before finally looking away and disappearing around the corner, where the entrance was. I turned back around to where the two employees behind the counter were, all but looking at me as to question what I had done without expressing it. There was even another man at the counter to grab our food at, who was all but holding a tray a food as he stared at me. "Number 47," said the guy, not seeming to look past and ignore what had just happened. I walked over to the guy, as he handed me the tray of food and a bottled of water. "Thanks," I responded, expressing the remorse I had for what had just happened that could be heard in my voice. I shifted away from the counter and over to where the tables were on the other side, passing the guy who was ordering next to me earlier. The glance he gave me when I passed by was enough to know the message everyone was giving off here; I didn't belong with these people, I didn't deserve to.
I didn't deserve be gifted forgiveness.
I placed my food on the table and grabbed my phone out of my pocket when I was done; I needed to locate this pizzeria, which could be the only hope I have to start a new if possible. As I was done typing in 'Freddy Fazbear's Pizza,' my eyes widened a little to the sight of Google Maps showing a pizzeria was in this city. I clicked on the image, which took me directly to Google Maps now and the location of it. It was about six hours away from here, and located in a place called Salt Lake City. The problem was that it would take more than six hours to get there, considering I had no transportation to use to get there fast. But regardless, I had a destination now, one that was the only limited purpose I had now. 'This is the next world. The world were I must live as a murderer now,' I thought as I grabbed my burger out of the box and took a bite out of it. 'The people see the same thing as me though, no matter where I go. They see a monster. And we both accept that sight at all times.'
