Three Days Before Protocol Afton

"What the fuck. The word 'present' also has more than one meaning?" I asked holding up the dictionary. "I've already stated enough times that most of our words have different meanings. If I didn't have to tell you once more," responded Hand Unit. "And it almost has a thousand pages. I can see why the company left it here," I responded. "The way I see it is that nobody even bothers to read dictionary's now, considering we have the technology and the internet to easily search up these words and find their meanings. The world has gotten easier to be around, and which will be the downfall of our society," he said. "Well, you got one more person that'll be abnormal to the others," I responded reading the other words that were in front of me. "I can already tell," he responded. I turned around to the sound of a noise behind me and at the door, which probably were the animatronics messing around. "It appears Funtime Freddy is active for tonight, at last," said Hand Unit. "You think at some point the company will decided to give them life like me?" I asked. "High unluckily at this moment at time. They'll most likely create new animatronics to work for them in the future ,besides hiring people to fill in the role of being a security guard, it's more efficient. They have the technology to make it happen," responded Hand Unit. "What time is it?" I asked turning to look at the computer screen, since I had left it open. "Is this a question directed at me, or for yourself?" asked Hand Unit. "For me. And it's almost three. I gotta get something to clinch me being thirsty," I responded as I got up and walked out of the office and towards the left door. "I would admire your ability of using new words, though it has been hindered from being spoken; due to your inability to put sentences into proper organization. Which will have to be worked on," he said as I walked towards the room with the refrigerator. "It shouldn't be too difficult, right?" I asked. "Nothing impossible to get done for certain," he responded as I walked in the room and overs towards the refrigerator, as I opened it and grabbed the Coke bottle as soon as it came into contact with my eyes. "I should've asked you this earlier, but I chose to not disturb you from the state your were in. But do you think there is another way to prevent that gang from harming me?" I said to him. "There are other ways, most certainly, considering the other one's I've mentioned. It isn't too late to go another route, if chosen of course," he responded. "Why do you think having a gun will save your life? What do you think it'll serve to do for you?" "Uh. Defend myself with. Not to entirely kill them. If I injure them and the police will arrive, they'll be easy to claim for the police without having to go through the effort to catch them," I responded. "But contacting the police about my problem can grant me the ability to have protection and possibly catch the gang members sooner than expected, while I don't have to worry about them enacting their attack on me. Is there really still time to make things easier?" "There always is, like I mentioned. You either take the easy route with less risk, or the hard route, ensuring a risk of demise," he responded. "Then I know what I have to do," I responded finally drinking from the bottle itself. "Is that really necessary?" he asked. "What! It's better and faster, and I'm extremely thirsty," I responded as I stopped drinking from it. "What the fuck, its not cold." "Once again, is that necessary to describe your feelings?" he asked again. "Yeah! I haven't drank from this since I put it in here when I arrived," I responded opening the fridge and putting my hand inside. "Its not cold. This thing is broken or something is not functioning properly." "My sensors are detecting that something is blocking the electricity from conducting and traveling through the cord on the back," said Hand Unit. "It might just be the problem then," I responded putting the Coke bottle down and putting both hands on both sides of the fridge, as I moved it forward towards me. "Alright. Maybe I have to plug it back in or try something else," I said as I walked around the fridge and to the open space I had now. Only I found something else that was enough to make this night more intriguing. Next to the plug in was an open space that was dark enough to hide wherever it lead. "What's this?" I asked Hand Unit. "Unknown. There are no records of this place having a room, as if it doesn't exist," he responded. "What does that mean?" I asked. "It means, it was purposely hidden for whatever purpose it serves to whoever created this," he responded. "It's like this place was always present," I said. "And there's only one other option we have." I walked away from the room, and back towards the office to grab something to aid me in this situation. "If you intend to explore this discovery, be warned I have no control on knowing what lies at the end of that crawl space," he mentioned as I walked into the office and grabbed a flashlight that was lying on the desk, before walking back towards to where I originally was. "What's the worst we can find?" I asked as I walked back into the room. "That's the stalemate we're at. We don't know what we'll find," he responded. I got on my hands and knees behind the fridge, as I turned on the flashlight. I could see a room and something green with some red mixed in with it, as I managed to crawl through and end up on the other side now. Surprisingly, the crawl space wasn't that hard to crawl through and didn't even extend out much. "I'm in," I said. "Your lucky I have the function to increase the volume of surrounding sound, my systems can't enter into the area your present in," said Hand Unit's voice, which sounded further than what it normally was. "What is present around you?" "I think I found an animatronic," I responded with a loud tone. Indeed there was an animatronic, which was the only thing that was present in this room. It was like it was made to be in here. "Illogical. There are no records of any animatronics being present here, besides the other one's mentioned," he responded from the other room. "Describe his appearance." "Uh. He's a bunny. He has a rotting green color. And. There's some weird red color underneath his suit," I responded. "Bring it out here. I like to personally see it," he responded. "Ah shit," I said softly as I started to grab him from where he was placed against the wall and move him towards the ground. "Holy shit, he's hella heavy," I said to myself trying to move him slightly before I moved him out of the room. I grabbed my flashlight and laid it pointed behind me at the end of the crawl space so I could have enough light to see this animatronic. I attempted to pull him by his arms, all while I could feel the stickiness of his body. "Oh my god, it feels so weird," I said to myself as I slowly pulled him towards the crawl space opening. After about a moment of me pulling him, I could feel the flashlight touch my back, as I moved it further back with my foot and continued to pull him. "The estimated time to pull an animatronic should require the amount of time as if you were running the mile," said Hand Unit's voice, which was more clear now as I drew closer towards the pizzeria's original room. "Do I look buff to you?" I asked still struggling to pull him out fully. "Your strength should be matched with what humans have, perhaps even superior to them," he responded. "Whatever! It would be nice to have someone else here to help!" I exclaimed while still struggling, as I finally was able to pull the suit back out now. And I was able to get a better view of this animatronic: The colors did match what I was shown, though even uglier this time and the decaying look he had, and not to forget the old parts of his suit I had on my hands now. "What's in his suit?" I asked. "Most certainly not an endo-skeleton for sure. But a decaying body that has been here for years," he responded. "This is the old Springbonnie suit." "Who the hell is that?" I asked. "For your information: Back in the day before the franchise transformed into what it was, the two first animatronics took the spotlight of anything that was unseen during that time; Fredbear and Springbonnie. After the downfall of those two animatronics spotlight and the pizzeria they popularized, the Fredbear animatronic disappeared without a trace, while the Springbonnie animatronic remained as storage at most of the pizzerias throughout its time. And it had many other purpose that sparked traumatizing events," he explained. "What events?" I asked. "Those unforgettable tales will be explained later But the last known location this suit was at burned down and was confirmed to be destroyed, or so that was what the company claimed. There is no logical explanation as to why it was hidden here, or when it got here," he responded. "So what the fuck do we do with it?" I asked. "I want to test out if it still works, considering the age it has delve into," he said. "Go to the back of it. There should be a switch behind the bottom of its head, flip it and see if its still active." "If you so say," I responded as I walked behind it and ducked down to see if I could spot the switch Hand Unit mentioned. Finally, I found it and flipped the switch as instructed, while getting up to witness what would happen next. Out of nowhere, the animatronic opened it eyes and looked around, since it was probably rebooting its systems for being inactive. However, he stopped to look at me; not even letting our gazes unlock.

"Where am I?"

"What the fuck!" I exclaimed softly while Springbonnie got up and looked around confused. "That's illogical. There is no certainty he has the capacity to run all those functions," said Hand Unit aloud. "Who are you?" asked Springbonnie again stopping to look at me. "Um. I'm Saber! Saber the Bunny! You're Springbonnie, correct?" I responded. "Is? Is that my name? I don't remember," he responded. "Uh. Yeah! Yeah, it is," I responded. "My name is Hand Unit, I am the A.I of this place to tend to. If you can excuse us, me and my assistance must talk for a moment," he said to Springbonnie. "Ok," responded Springbonnie as I walked out of the room. "This doesn't seem logical; I can't detect the same systems you have in place to input the capabilities you possess, like talking properly and thinking independently," he said as soon as I was outside of the room. "So how is he acting the same way I do?" I asked. "I have not come to a conclusion, at least as of now," he responded. "So what the fuck do we do now?" I asked. "Is it really necessary to cuss once more?" he asked. "Does it matter?! We have an animatronic here and you care about the words I use?! We have to talk to him and figure out how he's functioning the way he is. Unless you have a better idea," I responded. "I have objections. Though I'm entrusting you to talk to him entirely. I've had enough of teaching animatronics to be human for one week already," he responded. "Alright, then. We're good," I responded as I walked back in the room. Springbonnie was staring the ceiling, though he turned to look at me once I entered back in. "You're going to stay with us, just so we can settle on what happened with you, alright?" I said to him. "Alright," he responded. "Don't worry, we're going to figure out what happened to you and how you're the way you are now," I said. "You're going to be present and around us at all times. Just for your safety."
