Five Days Before Protocol Afton
"I would prefer if you didn't eat and have crumbs in my room," said Withered Bonnie as I eat the sandwich I had. "It would be better if I didn't have to come during a time that didn't involve doing something important. Just saying. I only grabbed a sandwich anyways because I didn't have much hunger, due to all that food I eat from that event," I said before swallowing my food. "Well. How about we start our tests and training now, shall we? I am very intrigued with the current results I have from our last meeting," said Withered Bonnie holding a clip board with a paper on it. "If you don't mind me asking; how long will this training take?" I asked. "My best estimation is a month. You could train yourself and learn the value of your powers own your own, but the amount of time it would take would drag onto for years," explained Withered Bonnie. "Yeah, I rather have someone teach me then," I responded. "Good. Now, we shall start with the basics of using your powers as a means of defense and weaponry, not for harm of course," said Withered Bonnie walking up to me. "The basic attack your learned was Shadow Blast, though you will learn other ways of attacks like, merging, unlocking another version of you, and using various shadow attacks," explained Withered Bonnie. "Ok. What were the other two things you just mentioned?" I asked. "Merging and unlocking another version of you. Merging is a way for people to merge with another person to combine into another being; increasing and combing both powers as well. As for unlocking another version of you: It is the ability to have another version of you that is locked away inside the depths of you to take control for a certain amount of time. RXQ was Toy Bonnie's version but a mistake was made in the process and ended up bringing him physically into this world," said Withered Bonnie. "How did it happen?" I asked. "That's not my business to specify the information, though I will admit the reason and failure behind it was very intriguing," responded back Withered Bonnie. "Are we gonna start training or what?" I asked. "Huh? Ah, yes! To start off I want you to fire a Shadow Blast, but instead charge it up to increase the damage of it," responded Withered Freddy walking to the side of me. "Ok? How do I attempt that?" I asked. "Focus all your energy on the blast before firing immediately. C'mon! Give it a try," he said. "Alright," I responded aiming my right hand at the bullseye and trying to divert all my energy into my hand. I could feel my hand tingle for a moment, before I let out a blast that hit the target; destroying it immediately. "Very good. These are some interesting results," said Withered Bonnie writing on his paper. "That wasn't so hard," I said. "Oh, that's only the tip of what else you have to learn. Now, I want you to try to lift yourself off the ground. Though float is the better term as to what I want you to do," he said. "Float? Damn, these powers sure are something," I responded. "Concentrate on feeling and visualizing yourself off the ground, know that it is actually occurring," he instructed. "Alright. I'll try to," I responded. "Use all your effort. And be wary of the potential of your powers, they can be ungrateful at times if used incorrectly," he warned me. " Besides. I will be displeased to not have the right amount of results for today." I focused on only feeling and acting as if I were floating, clearing my mind of any other thought for the moment. 'I can float. I can float,' I thought reassuring myself in my mind to make sure I was doing it right. As I looked down, I realized I indeed was starting to float off the ground now. I was actually doing the impossible. "Whoa! It's working!" I exclaimed happily. Without warning, I fell immediately to the ground that let out a sound from the impact. "Never mind," I responded on the ground, all while Withered Bonnie was writing on his clipboard. "Very intriguing," he said still writing, as I got up now on my feet and trying my best to ignore the pain on my legs, mainly because they were the first to hit impact when I fell. "Why did I fall?" I asked Withered Bonnie. "You lost control. You don't have that, there's no chance you will be able to handle that ability. But with more practice, you'll be able to control it and reach greater heights," he responded. "I'm also intrigued to see you at least got the hang of it, not many people have success when attempting the first time." "What? Am I like lucky or special because of the high success rate I've had," I responded. "No. You just have a more complex mindset than most others," he answered looking up now and walked towards the back area of the target practice range. "Must be why Fredbear chose you to be with the others to take part on building our society. Now, how about we attempt hitting moving targets again, shall we?" "Do you really think I'm eligible to be working on our society?" I asked him out of nowhere. He turned to look directly at me, something he had lacked since I'd met him. "Now why would you question yourself?" he responded. "It's just... I'm grateful for the opportunity, but I feel like I don't deserve it. I haven't been here as long as everyone else, and I know it's going to cause some tension towards others because of that reason," I said. "I'm sure Fredbear chose you for a reason. Do you not trust him or the people that cheered for you?" said Withered Bonnie. "I trust his words and reassurance. But I need to hear from someone other than the selector himself," I responded. He let his hand holding the clipboard fall to his side and rest finally, as to show his full attention now. "I will say this directly; you are one of the few that have exceeded the first few trials and blockages of attempting your first powers. You're aren't prefect, like everyone else in the world. But you are a rare sight that is much appreciated. That's why Fredbear chose you. Factors like the amount of time being here don't have to show that you're superior towards others, it shows it takes less time to fit in with others and be one of us," he explained. "Now. Let's continue your training." He walked on over to the same button to activate the target system, as they started moving above at a moderate pace. I was happy now to hear from someone that wasn't Fredbear about this current position I would be taking part in. "Concentrate on hitting the target early before it comes into view and estimate when the blast will hit it," suggested Withered Bonnie. "Alright. I'll keep that in mind," I responded before getting my hand ready to take a shot. I waited before actually attempting to guess and estimate the pattern and speed of the targets and correctly hit the targets. After seeing a little bit of space between the upcoming target, I took the first shot the chance I could, only to miss by inches from the target. "I will give you two more attempts before moving on with your training," informed Withered Bonnie still standing at the area where the button for the targets was. I looked back at the targets, while watching the pattern and movement of them carefully this time. I wanted to insure I didn't mess up again, and I had to pay better attention if I wanted to hit one of the targets. I tried my best as well to learn from my last mistake of missing the target and estimate the distance I needed open to hit the target. Finally, I I took a shot as pieces of the bulleyes fell in front of me. I looked down and grabbed them as to see how much I had knocked off, all while Withered Bonnie walked up to me to see the results as well. After looking at it for a moment it was evident that it was only a small portion I had knocked off. And just by looking up and noticing the missing part on the one bullseye I had managed it hit, I had enough proof to show I had only scratched a tiny part of it. "Didn't even come close to the center," I said finally handing the piece to him, since I'm sure it would be valuable to study for him. "Very intriguing, yes. Let us come back to this later," he said walking over to the button to shut of the moving bullseye. "Wait! I thought I had one more chance?" I asked as the bullseyes stopped moving now from him deactivating them. "That has changed. Now, let us continue, you're training still isn't done for today," he responded. 'Did my attempt satisfy him? If so, then I guess I'm on my way towards progress,' I thought. 'All these powers and I wonder what would happen if someone were to use them for harm. Hell, anyone could just use it to destroy this place. It would be easy enough for anyone to succeed.'
