"So? You got In-N-Out, huh?" I asked. "Shut the fuck up!" exclaimed the shadow version of me as we both walked together towards my house that we were close to. "Sorry. I can't control what my bad sides spits out whatever he feel's like saying, and the same goes with a good side I have as well," he responded. "It's fine. I've heard worse," I responded as we approached my house and headed towards the front door. Once we stopped at the door, I pulled out the key for the house and unlocked the front door. And for once, I could breath a sigh of relief from the fear that had been lifted now. Even though what it took to eliminate that fear went to great lengths, which in the end was not enacted by me. I pushed the door open, as I walked in along with the shadow version of me into a place where I would not be alone here for once. "This looks gay as fuck!" exclaimed his bad side. "I quite like the look and detail of it. It's much nice than our old room back at home," said his good side, as we both made our way into the kitchen. "You can set your food wherever," I responded taking the gun out of the Dorito bag, and throwing the bag in the trash can next to the counter. The shadow version of me placed his bag of food he had on him on the counter, as we walked to where I was seating myself at the table now. "You want anything?" I asked him. "No thanks. Should you at least eat something? Just a suggestion," responded back the shadow version of me. "I don't have an appetite," I responded, as he sat himself down on the seat in front of me that was on the other side of the table, waiting for me to at least start a conversation. "I never was answered with who you were," I said. "Saber. Shadow Saber. And you're-" "Saber. I should've guessed sooner," I said finishing his sentence. "So? What's the story of you being here? I see you've set yourself up with a standard life," said Shadow Saber. "Well. About a couple days ago I was activated from a friend of mine to work under the company, Fazbear Entertainment, since I was their latest creation that was modified from my previous creator, William Afton," I started. "I've heard mentions of the franchise and their pizzeria's they design to entertain children with," noted Shadow Saber. "Kids are fucking annoying as hell! Thank god those brats at McDonald's got the message they deserved to hear!" exclaimed my bad side. "What the hell is he talking about?" I asked. "It's best I tell you another time," responded Shadow Saber. "Alright then. Anyways, I was given money, a place to live, and a life that I had control over that was in my hands as soon as I brought into this world. My job was to work the night shifts at the pizzeria and insure the protection of any valuables the place held, until the pizzeria opens this Saturday. Which is tomorrow if I'm exact on the time," I continued. "Sounds like your life is almost perfect," said Shadow Saber. "Not everything," I responded turning to look down at the table. "Sorry, if I meant to refer to something you wish to not remember," said Shadow Saber, trying to apologize from the memories that have been refurbished to be known once more. "No, it's acceptable. Memories aren't meant to be forgotten," I responded. "The first night where I was brought into this world, I encountered a robbery at a gas station. The cashier, Aditya, was shot by the person who was attempting the rob the location. I stopped him as a way to avenge Aditya and his life that didn't deserve to see the after life, at least not yet. When I halted the robbers escape, he pleaded for me to kill him, as if his life didn't matter anymore. I couldn't. It wouldn't have made a difference either way because of the situation at that time. I would be no better than him." As I let out a sigh, I noticed how Shadow Saber seemed to be quite invested in my story, as if he could relate with it in a way. These were words that resonated with himself. "I eventually handed him to the police and continued on with my life, as what someone would normally try to proceed with. You can't get past a tragedy and expect for it to go away. It's one of a kind, it has the same effects on everyone. No matter what. A couple day ago, the news came out with a report over an incident that involved the murder of Aditya's parents at their own home, which was confirmed to be gang related. I had pissed them off, due to that robber being apart of the gang and ensuring vengeance against my actions... The following night, after I had left the pizzeria for the night, I had returned home to find my house ransacked and broken into when I was gone," I continued as I turned to point at the words that were still left on the wall. "Including that." "Graffiti. No fucking shit," said Shadow Saber's bad side, as he turned back to look at it. "For two days, I proceeded with my life in paranoia and fear each day; waiting for the day where they would show up and take a life they stole to outmatch my score. My solution to the problem was to eliminate it completely; I had to kill them, before they had a chance to enact the same cycle of events that took Aditya's life. I bought a gun, practiced and trained myself on how to use its full capability, and prepared myself for whatever outcome was chosen in the end. Seeing that gang in front of the pizzeria before I left felt like I was facing my demise head on without any preparation to aide the situation I was in. I was scared to fucking hell, nothing I had ever felt. And when the time came, I had to keep reminding myself to pull the trigger the moment I inched closer to their group. I had to end it one way or another. But when your presence entered the scene, I felt relieved and yet, ungrateful for the save you had granted me. I had all the will and to pull the trigger, but I don't think I could've lived with killing people for the rest of my life. And I believe you don't deserve that weight that only gets heavier as time passes on," I said ending my conversation at the end. "Yeah. It only added on the current state I'm in," responded Shadow Saber, as I turned to look directly at him. "My home-world is another dimension, the Shadow Realm you can call it, where I was created and brought into life the moment you were gifted the same act. My people are born from the creations of other animatronics and I befriend some of the residents, took part in the first steps on building our society, and had a life I would accept. Until that all changed into a life I wish I could return to. During the few days I was present at our society, an individual, Funtime Freddy, decided me and a couple friends were the best targets to take in his insulates. He was someone that acted all gangster-like, most likely wanting to drive himself to be one when he had the opportunity. A shame he didn't care to hide his lifestyle, as he wasn't one of a kind to our people. Eventually, a new problem arose from the ashes to stack on the weight I was encountering during that time. The two sides I have to be exact." "Fuck you!" exclaimed his bad side in response from being mentioned. "Anyways, these two sides were created by the function of our way of receiving and earning our powers, which resulted in them," continued Shadow Saber, ignoring the outburst his other side had just exclaimed. I ended up at the point where I couldn't control them nor what they spoke, as predicted. Other occurrences happened with Funtime Freddy, after the first one. But what happened in the end with our final encounter was the point where he would show his true colors... He wanted to seize control over our society and kill me and our leader, Shadow Fredbear, in order to rule it as his own kingdom and set his own rules, something me and my friends were not going to allow become a reality. It didn't take long for us to apprehend him and end his vision of a dark future. Only, that dark future was destined for me. My bad side killed him with no ease or remorse... I killed him, and I paid the price for it. Me, and another, Mangle, were both exiled though mine was only temporary. Didn't matter to me regardless, I wasn't reliable and trustworthy to live under the same roof with more than fifty people. They wanted me to leave for good, and I listened to both me and them... They life I once had is crumpled into ashes, all past the point of reconstruction." "I guess we both are one of a kind really," I added in, once he was done. "Yeah. We both are really something," responded back Shadow Saber, as he looked down at the table. "Shut the fuck up and cry me a river bitch! What you gonna do, kill yourself asshole!?" exclaimed my bad side. "Can't we all get along here? We all have differences and similarities, which stre-" "You can stay here if you want," I said cutting of his good side, mainly because it was irritating me a little. "Are you sure?" asked Shadow Saber, as what I said seemed to catch his attention. "You have nowhere else to go, so may as well spend your time here. This can be your life if you really don't know what to do next," I said. "We both are one of a kind after all. I don't think we met on coincidence." "Are you sure you're willing to be around me? After all I have done?" asked Shadow Saber. "We both are looking for something: You wish to find a purpose again, and I wish to live a life where I can't make decisions that will end up destroying my life. I haven't learned all the fundamentals of life: One of the animatronics that works alongside the company, Star Cluster doesn't have the time to talk from where she's at, and the A.I that I work with in the pizzeria isn't obligated to teach me much as well. I'm alone. Just like you," I responded. He turned to look at the graffiti on the wall, as if it was his deciding point for his decisions. Finally, he turned to look at me, as he only stared at me for a moment before finally responding.

"Alright. I'll stay."

A smile of delight formed on my face because of his response , and from knowing I wasn't going to be completely alone anymore. I had company now. "You can sleep on the couch and I'll grab a blanket, since you mentioned on the way here that you were overdue on sleep, due to the amount traveling you committed to reach the pizzeria," I said as I got up from my seat and walked towards the hallway. "Hey Saber," said Shadow Saber, as I stopped where I was and turned around to face him. "Thanks. For entrusting me to stay with you, even after all I've done." "You're not someone with bad intentions, who plans on fixing their mistakes after all that you've done. You're just misguided," I said as I turned back around and walked towards the hallway. "You see the damage committed by your mistakes can be undone. And that's ensures me that you're determined to start a new life. And we get to take the first steps together."
