Saber the Bunny's P.O.V

Date: June 21st, 2017

Time: 5:03 p.m.

12 hours before Protocol Afton

I almost dropped the keys for the front door, as I had to set the endless bag of groceries I had bought for today on the ground. Once I set them all down, I was able to insert the key in the keyhole and unlock the door; granting me the opportunity to open the door and bring the groceries inside. Once I was inside, I set the bags of food and drinks back on the floor and closed the door behind me. As I was done with that, I turned to the living room as I walked inside and over to the couch. Shadow Saber still wasn't awake, who was sound asleep on the couch with a blanket covering his body, from what I could tell. I turned back around and grabbed the groceries and moved them into the kitchen. Once I entered inside the area, I walked over to the counter and placed the bags on top of it. As an act of habit, I turned to look at the phone, expecting a missed call or message to be present when viewed. There was nothing. I hadn't had the chance to call Star Cluster and report to her what had happened last night and this morning, mainly because me sleeping until about four, and eventually leaving around that time to head to the dollar store and buy some food and drinks for the week. The population of the people living here had increased, even it was by one person. Our rations had increased as well, which was something that would risk us if gone unnoticed. I walked over to the phone and grabbed it off its rack, along with me typing in her number to call. Once I was done, I raised up the phone to my ear like usual and waited for her to answer.

"Yo?"

"Hey, Star Cluster! It's me, Saber!" I responded back moving over towards the counter. "Hey, Saber! You good, you know? Doing you? Or something? That's sound gay now that I think about it," responded back Star Cluster. "Yes, I'm fine. I was able to purchase a gun yesterday when I had the chance. Didn't really matter because I didn't have to use it anyways," I said. "What are you talking about?" asked Star Cluster as her tone changed to a more concerned version of her. "That gang showed up at the pizzeria when I left for the night, and they meant business when I faced them. A weird version of me, Shadow Saber who is a different version of me from what I can tell, stopped by the scene and managed to kill all of them," I responded. "I'm safe now. Even if it meant having someone enact the choice I didn't have the chance to commit." "Holy shit. Did you call the police or something?" responded Star Cluster. "Uh... Shit, I forgot about that! I don't have a smart phone, and I didn't think about calling the authorities when I got home with Shadow Saber!" I exclaimed back softly, in order to prevent myself from waking up Shadow Saber in the other room. "What the fuck? You're having someone sleep in your house, like a gay couple?" asked Star Cluster. "No! I'm not gay! He's from a different dimension that resides away from our reach. He was kicked out because of a condition he has, where he has two other minds that both make up what is right, and what is wrong," I responded. "But's he harmless? Right? He did kill those gang members, from what I'm being told," said Star Cluster. "He's harmless. He's been through a lot, more than what we can comprehend. I'm allowing him to stay with me because he's someone that has lost to life, all because of the occurrences of life that were brought to him. Just like what happened to me," I responded. "Dude! Do you know the fucking situation we're in now! The police are going to fucking take this to court, all because you haven't contacted them! Not only that, but with someone that can be interpreted as a paranormal phenomenon and that looks like one of our own animatronics?! This fucks our company in the ass!" exclaimed Star Cluster over the phone. "Well, I'm sorry. Really. I didn't mean to have you land in this situation," I said trying to calm down her frustration. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to get a little heated over that. But's this puts the company in a position where we have to personally deal with this mater now, and it risks the publicity of our pizzeria that is to open tomorrow. And I already have to prepare to leave for tomorrow morning before me, and the rest of the people attending the jobs at the pizzeria depart. It's a whole cluster fuck at this point," she explained. "Is there anything I can do to help?" I asked, as at this point I had managed to place most of the food and drinks that I had bought where they belonged in the cabinets. "No, it's fine. I'll take care of it," she responded. "You know, would it have made a difference if I had killed those gang members myself and the same outcome would occur? I swore to kill them when the time would come where I would encounter them, and that I could've been the outcome... I still could've committed the act, even it risk my life changing and how others would view me now. Shadow Saber suffered the same fate," I said. "What's done is done now. I'll try to get some workers over at the pizzeria early to clean up any evidence of the event. Don't be a retard and say you didn't at least try to hide what happened," said Star Cluster. "Yeah, me and Shadow Saber did our best to cover our tracks," I responded. "Even though I finally managed to free myself from what felt like a curse, just thinking about having to kill them did made my realize killing them would've had a bigger impact on me, rather than everyone else around me. I'm flooded with guilt, knowing Shadow Saber had to kill those people because his bad side desired to see pain at his feet." "I just hope he isn't harmful as what you tell me makes him out to be," she responded. "Alright. We should probably end this, I got paperwork and other things to finish for today." "Just promise me one thing before you go. Promise you'll allow Shadow Saber a chance at another life and a chance to work alongside the company. Promise me that you can be the one that confirm that I will have a reset. One that allows me to pursue the life that is perfect for me," I said. "I will. You're the best good damn thing I can talk to... Take care, you're life sure as hell is going to change tomorrow," responded Star Cluster. "Bye, Saber."

The other line cut off, as I was left with the beep that followed after. I walked over to the stand where the phone was, as I placed it back on its place. All I could wonder was what would happen tomorrow, as it would be the start of a new life. The reset was already in place. I turned around to the sound of someone walking down the hallways, appearing to be Shadow Saber as he walked up to me. "Good morning," he said as he stopped behind the counter. "Morning," I responded back as I turned around from the phone and facing him. "Something on your mind?" he asked noticing the way I was acting indifferent from his view. "Yeah. Just the life we both are going to receive tomorrow," I responded. "This is our future. This is our confirmed reset that states our lives can be something worthwhile. We get to change the world, and for the better."
