Chapter 4

"So this Chaos Control created a warp in time in space and that's how you guys ended up here, hm? I think I understand that much. But I still don't understand these Chaos Emeralds you guys are talking about?" Chris said. Tails looks a Chris in surprise "You've never heard of the Chaos Emeralds? Boy you really do have a lot to learn docha"
"Each Chaos Emerald is filled with a magical power. So you can imagine what would happen if you've found all seven of them" Amy explained while Chuck turns around with a frown "But no one has ever found all seven emeralds, and now its highly improbable that anyone ever will find them"
Cream looks at him in wonder "Why is that?" Cookie agrees "Yeah" Chuck sighs "Well you see Cookies&Cream everyone of the precious Chaos Emeralds has disappeared." "That doesn't mean there gone for good?" Sonic explained while everyone turns to him "Any time the seven Chaos Emeralds come together in one place, they scatter and disappear all over again"
"Then that means there all still out there some place" Chris said. Sonic puts a thumb up "That's right" Tails looks up "Only we don't have anyway of knowing where? If there on this planet that's good. But if there still on the planet we've came from, we may never get home" Life smiles "Don't worry Tails everything will be as it should be"
Tails sighs "I hope so..." Chris looks at them "Listen, if the emeralds are somewhere on this planet and we can find somewhere to locate them all. Then we would be able to reverse that time warp. You guys will be on your own planet before you know it, right Sonic" Sonic smiles "Yeah no worries"

(Sonic X theme song played)

Somewhere in the construction area people are working while a Chaos Emerald is found in a pile of dirt. The President is talking with his employees about Team Sonic and Doctor Eggman. They sent a secret spy to Chris's school as his teacher to get information about Sonic and his friends.
Scene changes to Chris's school in the classroom where Chris is sitting at a table with his friends. Danny bets "Hey I bet you that little hedgehog things is so fast there never going to get em" Franis agrees "I bet your right" then she turns to Chris "Chris think'll ever catch that hedgehog?" "Huh? Uhh I don't know?" Chris lies while the principal walks in
"Children, may I have your attention? I would like to make a brief announcement to you all. Your teacher Ms westernly will be taking a leave of absence, therefore she will not be with you for the remainder of the semester" The students look at each other in shock.
"Please say hello to Mr Steuart who will be your substitute" Mr. Steuart smiles "Hello children" "Hello Mr. Steuart" the kids say, then Mr. Steuart takes a glance at Chris in suspiton. Franis turns to Chris "He looks nice doesn't he Chris"
Chris calls out "Danny come on hurry up!" "Okay I'll be there in a minute" Danny said making Chris sigh. Just then Mr. Steuart walks by "Christopher Throndike?" Chris hears his name and turns around. "The principal told me you name and I was wondering if you were the same Christopher Thorndyke who's father is the CEO of the starship software company Nelson Thorndyke? And whose mother is the famous film actress Lindsey Fair"
Chris blinks "Yeah that's me" "Well I must say Christopher it's a privilege to meet the son of such distinguished parents" Mr. Steuart said while Chris replies "Thanks, that's very nice of you to say" "Great meeting you Christopher" he said while pulling out his hand for Chris to hand shake. Chris does the action "Good to meet you too"
"By the way... this might sound strange but do you have a favorite animal?" Mr. Steuart asked randomly. Chris thinks "Uhh, well um... Hedgehogs I guess" "Ahh!" "Is that weird?" Chris asked while Mr. Steuart quickly answers "No not at all" Chris smiles while Danny comes out of the classroom ready "Hey Chris!" Chris blinks "Huh?" Danny stops "Sorry, lets go" Chris smiles "It was nice talking to you Mr. Steuart, see ya" with that they both run down the hallway to lunch.

Scene change back to the construction site where the people working on the site is digging around when the Chaos Emerald started to glow and made the machine start to cause mayhem. The men out there started to freak out trying to get out of the way from the possessed vehicle. When it finally stopped they wondered what made it go out of control like that.
Back to Chris's school at lunch time Danny asks Chris something "Hey Chris, what was Mr. Steuart talking to you about in the hall?" Chris looks at him "Uh... He asked me what my favorite animal was" "huh, that's weird" The news turns on and is talking about the invasion about what at the construction site.
