Chapter 6

One morning at Thorndike Residence, Sonic is standing on the roof looking into the distance, crossing his arms. Then he jumps off the roof and takes off for a run. Then after 3 minutes Sonic comes back and stops right at the door for it to open to reveal Amy smiling. "Hey, where'd you go?" Sonic smiled "Just out" Then he walked into the house without a single word. She sighs 'He's so mysterious'

(Sonic X theme song played)

The scene shows Chris eating breakfast when the phone started ringing. Ella came into the room with a bowl of fruit when Mr. Tanaka answered the phone. "Thorndike Residence... Very good sir" he hangs up the phone and looks at Chris "Your father has requested that I inform you that he and your mother will be stopping by for a visit this afternoon." Chris looks up from his food and looks at Ella surprised "Wow, Ella, they're coming to see me." She smiles "What a nice surprise!" "It's not even my birthday. Uh... Uh-oh!" Mr. Tanaka looks at him "Is there something wrong?" Chris denies "No. I'm all done. Can I go now?" "Yes, go ahead." Chris starts to run off "See you later!" Ella turns her head to Mr. Tanaka "Oh! Something is up." He looks at her in confusion "Hmm?"

Scene changes to Chuck's workshop where everyone is eating minus an upset Life who isn't eating a thing. Chris looks at her in confusion "Er Life? Why aren't you eating anything?" She looks up giving him the scary eyes. Anthony spoke for her "She isn't eating because she is a picky eater. So she doesn't like what we are eating." Sonic snickers while Life glares at him. Chris chuckles slyly "Oh... Anyway, I've gotta go to school, so I'm counting on you guys to stay out of sight when my parents show up." Tails smiles "Gotcha. No problem" Amy smiles putting a thumb up "Yeah, sure. You can count on us." Anthony shrugs "Okay" Sonic finished his food then while Chris is talking "It won't be for long. Mom and Dad's visits have to be short, because they both have busy schedules."

Once he finished talking Sonic got up from the bean bag and walked towards the stairs. Chris looks at him "Hey Sonic? *He turns his head back to everyone* Is he mad at me?" Amy sly smiles "Don't mind him" "Get going, Chris. You'll be late for school if you don't hurry up" Chuck exclaimed pointing to the clock. Chris starts to panic and rushes down the stairs only to trip on the way down. "I'm okay" Everyone sighs except for Life and Anthony who are laughing their butts off at Chris's misfortune. Tails looks at Chuck "Chris sure is happy about his folks' visit, huh, Chuck?" "Mm-hmm, he is" "What do they do?" Amy asks "Chris's dad is president of a huge software company. He spends most of his time at the office or traveling on business." Amy blinks "And what about his mom?" "She's a star, a famous actress, who jets all around the world making movies."

Tails frowns "I bet it's pretty tough for Chris not having his parents around most of the time. Chuck nods "Yes" Amy frowns "He must miss them" Anthony rolls his eyes "Duh! I would if my parents were still around..." Life looks down "I wonder how Juliana is doing back at the Castle..." Then it shows Sonic on the roof looking up at the sky. Then the scene changes to Eggman's base with him thinking of a plan. He grumbles "I've got to think of something. I've got to think of a way to conquer this planet. Perhaps the children. Maybe one of my robots could brainwash the school kiddies so that they'd love me, and humor me, and look up to me as a hero, and they could persuade their parents to accept me as their ruler." Deco brings over his cards "Here are your choices" "Let's see. This is a tough one. *He places them inside a machine* I'll let the machine decide" The machine decides for him making him smile "Perfect!"

The scene changes to the school where the kids are looking at the chalkboard in confusion. Francis questions "So, what do you think it is?" Danny shrugs "I don't know" "That doesn't even make sense?" Chris exclaimed while Francis frowns "I don't even know where to start" "I'm totally lost" Chris looks at Mr. Stewart "Should we wake him up?" Danny spoke "No, don't" "Then he'll put us to sleep" Francis said. The door opens "My, my, what an intelligent-looking class!" All the kids look at the door "Huh?" "Oh, perhaps I've arrived during nap time" Mr. Intellihente said Mr. Stewart wakes up confused "Huh? Uh, I'm sorry. What are you" Mr. Intellihente puts his hands to his waist "Hmm. I'll give you three guesses, young man." "You're a robot" "A robot teacher." Mr. Intellihente glared "Hmm. Goodbye. I'm taking over." "You are?" "I am." Mr. Stewart blinks "How's that? Oh! *Gets thrown out of the classroom* Ow!" He gets up annoyed "They're replacing me with a robot, huh? Wait till I give that principal a piece of my mind!"
