Chapter Twenty-Six - 26

"So, how was English?" Darcy asked me as we walked outside of our school.

"It was fine." I said and she looked at me. "What?"

"You two were flirting the entire time." she said and I shrugged. "Yeah, it's a good thing we never believed any of that 'I never loved him' crap."

"Darcy..."

"Hey, you two!" I heard Harry's voice and I turned around.

"Oh, hey." I said and smiled at him. "Are you walking home?" I asked him and he nodded. "Then I'm walking with you. Darcy, I will call you later, okay?"

"Yeah, okay... bye." she said and I waved as Harry and I started walking away.

"So, how was today? With Connor, I mean." Harry asked me.

"Oh, it was fine. He's just as annoying as he use to be." I said and Harry laughed. A guy walked up behind Harry and gave him a hug.

"Who is touching me?" Harry asked and pried the guy off of him. "Oh, it's you."

"What's that suppose mean?! I'm the best." The guy said and laughed.

"Zayn, this is Lanie." Harry introduced us and I smiled at Zayn.

"Oh, I know who you are." Zayn said with a wink and I looked down.

"Oh, shut up." Harry said.

"Wait, Zayn Malik?" I asked, popping my head up.

"Yeah... you know me, too?" he asked and I shook my head.

"Just your name."

"Well, you should know me."

"No, she shouldn't." Connor said walking up next to me.

"Oh, shut up." Zayn said and Connor laughed.

"You know, I'm just gonna go." I said and started walking faster.

"And I'm going with Lanie. You two, have fun." Harry said and caught up with me. "This is a random question, but have you talked to Liam lately?"

"Uh... he said something to me in English, but that's about it."

"Oh, okay."

"Why?" I asked and Harry shrugged.

"Just wondering."

"Alright, then." I said and stuffed my hands in my pockets.

"Uh, hey... do you want to study for that math test together? My mum wouldn't care if you came over." I looked at him and shrugged.

"Sure, sounds like a plan." I said and smiled. "Is your house near mine?" I asked him and he nodded.

"I live on the street behind Louis' house." Harry said and I nodded.

"You're pretty close then, huh?"

"I sure am." he said and looked down at his phone. My phone started ringing and I answered it.

"Hello?"

"Hey, Lanie. It's me." I heard Liam's voice and I smiled.

"Hey! What's up?" I asked him.

"Nothing, really... where are you?" he asked me.

"I'm walking with Harry to Harry's house, why?"

"Wait, why are you going to Harry's?" he asked me and I sighed.

"Because we're studying together." I said and Liam groaned.

"We were suppose to hang out tonight." he said.
