He deserved it, right?

It was now dark and the moon was starting to rise. "You should probably get back to your pack... ," Dusk mumbled. "I-I...I'm not ready yet," I yelped, my eyes grew wide. I was not ready to go back and face my pack. "It's late and I'm sure they're wondering where you are," shook my head. My eyes started to tear up. I quietly mumbled half to myself, "I'm not so sure about that after what I did today... ," he tilted his head. I stood up and sighed. "I'll just find somewhere to stay tonight, thanks for your company," I forced a smile to try and hide the sadness in my eyes. I started slowly walking away.

I've been walking next to the border for a few hours and it's probably about midnight by now. I just can't bring myself to go back, I've probably cause more of problem than if I had just spoke to him quietly. But he deserved it, it was his fault, it wasn't mine, I wouldn't be punished, right? Once again I stopped walking and cried. My eyes were already puffy from crying all night, I didn't deserve this. "WHY IS IT ALWAYS ME?!" I howled into the night air at SkyPack, "WHAT HAVE I DONE TO DESERVE THIS PAIN?! IT WAS MY DESTINY TO RUN AWAY AND NOW THAT I'VE DONE THAT I'VE ONLY SEEN PAIN!" I started sobbing, this wasn't what I deserved.

I must have passed out because I woke up on the border right before the sun started rising. I sighed, I'm going to go back they have no right to punish me. I ran all they way home and when I stopped at the edge of the woods I saw the dark fur of MoonLight. I growled under my breath. He saw me and audibly growled. Next thing I knew he was charging straight up to me and then we were nose to nose, "You have some nerve coming back here after running away!" "And you have some nerve even talking to me after what you've done. I'm done crying over you, all you've ever done was mess up my life. You're not the innocent little apprentice I first met. No not anymore, now you're just a wolf that plays with others hearts and you trick them, and then you move on. You've played with my heart since we were young, and you're still doing it but not in the same way as before now it just hurts. Now you're going to play with Dawn's heart just like you did mine, but I guess you're perfect for each other because you both love to ruin everyone's lives," I laughed as he stared at me in shock, and the I whispered into his ear, "I can see the deep oozing scratches that Moon left on you when she attacked you yesterday, and if you don't leave this pack with Dawn and make Moon alpha then I'll leave one of those in your neck, and then I'll leave one in Dawn's. You'll both be dead before you can say 'Dinner Time', do you understand me?! Now leave before I fulfill my promise, I want you gone my sun-high." I heard him gulp and I felt him slowly nod beside me, he knows that despite my size, I wasn't lying. I would make sure follow my threat. "I'll leave this as a warning," I growled as I stepped back and the clawed a huge gash into his muzzle. I laughed maniacally in his face and then walked away towards the cave still laughing. I can't believe that he was once the most innocent wolf I knew.

I sat and smirked as MoonLight made the announcement that he and Dawn would be leaving and that Moon was now alpha of the pack and was in charge. I puffed out my chest and perked up my ears, but my happiness didn't last quickly. "But before I go I'd like to speak with NightSky for a minute," I heard MoonLight growl. "Fine but no more than a minute," I growled back at him. I walked away with him with my chest puffed out. "What do you want?" I growled whenever we were a good few feet away. "Look, Nighty," I cringed whenever he used my old nickname, "I'm really sorry for what I—," I cut him off before he could say those last words. "YOU HAVE NI RIGHT TO APOLOGIZE!! THE DAMAGE HAS BEEN DONE AND YOU'VE OBVIOUSLY MOVED ON!" I half growled half howled at him. "Then we can do this the hard way," I started trembling from the hatred and menace in his eyes. "W-What're you talking about?!" He let out a low growl and then lunged on me. I felt the anger, hatred, and any other bad feelings I had built up inside of me as he scratched my eye. Everyone started rushing towards us but before they got close I felt my claws tear through skin and next thing I knew the weight on top of me was gone and I was covered in blood. I stood up trembling as I looked down and saw sticky blood flowing onto my paws from MoonLight's neck. I looked up and saw the shock in everyone's eyes and then I looked at LilyPad and she was looking at me as though she was terrified. "H-Honey, p-please I'm sorry!" all she did was back away from me when I started approaching her. In that moment my heart just broke and I heard Dawn's low growl, "You monster, you killed my mate!" I looked up and growled, "He attacked me it was my first instinct, now leave as you promised or I will follow up to the other half of my earlier promise and do the same to you." She nodded but I could tell she wanted to talk back. She then left and now I had to deal with my pack and how the would react to my murder.
