"I have good news and less good news but it's not bad. I will start with mine and Storm's news," she looked at her mate and he stood up and layed his head on her shoulders, "Me and Storm are having pups!" she howled with joy filling her voice. We all started congratulating her. "I will not leave my pack as alpha until the pups are born and while I am nursing them, I have decided that NightSky will be my substitute alpha," SkyCloud opened his mouth to protest but Moon cut him off before he could speak, "I may be young but I know what choices are right for my pack. NightSky has made some serious mistakes, that is true, BUT she is the only one out of all of us that has insight on what an alpha does. She is an alpha's daughter, her ex-mate was an alpha,and her daughter is an alpha. Do any of you have as many connections to knowing what an alpha does other than her?" when she saw everyone's blank stare she continued, "Exactly, and that leads me on to my new set of rules. We will not treat a wolf as on Omega, that label no longer exists. We are not going to put another wolf down because of what he or she has done. We have alpha's, mentors, apprentices, and warriors from now on and that's it," she had a smile on her face as she saw the stunned look on LilyPad and SkyCloud's face. "Now Violet and Cloud have great news," she waved her tail at them for them to go up to the alpha's speaking area. Violet announced her and Clouds mating and how she had just found out she was having pups, so we should expect more than just Moon's little bundle. I was happy my pups, who it seemed like were tiny scraps of fur beside me just yesterday, where all getting mates of their own and having pups...well almost all of them, Tree was distant from everyone and he would often sneak away, I never pushed him about it but it was getting suspicious because he always came back in some sort of daze, his eyes where blinded by a huge mix of emotions, there was so many it was hard to tell what he was feeling except for happiness, because happiness was they only emotion that overpowered the rest.

"Are you sure you want to make me the substitute alpha? Wouldn't Storm be a better choice he's younger, more agile, and he would be a popular choice within the pack," Moon and I was walking through the woods while everyone was asleep. "I'm giving you a chance to show the pack that you're not the same wolf that killed MoonLight, I'm giving you a chance to redeem yourself for what you have done," before I could say anything else I felt her teeth meet my scruff as she yanked me towards her and then just as quick let me go, "maybe we should head back, you almost ran into that tree. You're still not used to using one eye?" I nodded embarrassed. She chuckled and then lead me home just as she used to lead DreamHeart until she knew the land by herself. I smiled and rested my tail on her back as we kept walking.

"What do you mean I can't hang out with her?!" I stopped when I heard PawSteps angry growl. Who was she talking too? Moon looked at me like she had the same question. "I mean that I think it would be best if you weren't around her so much, you never show me that much attention anymore!" I chill ran through me when I heard SkyCloud's voice respond and I knew they were talking about me. "Every time I try to you snap at me for simply being friends with her!" "Because you need to stop being friends with her!" "I didn't bring you out here to argue, I had question I wanted to ask... ," I heard her voice soften. "What do you want," SkyCloud still sounded angry. "I know we're starting to get older, and I wanted to possibly have another litter of pups before I get too old." I felt my fur grow hot, I DID NOT want to stick around for this. "That sounds good to me," and after that me and Moon ran before we heard what was about to happen.

It's been a few weeks since Moon decided to finally start staying in our newly made nursery, and not soon after PawStep and Violet would be joining her. PawStep and SkyCloud have been arguing anytime they weren't avoiding each other and I couldn't help but feel like it was my fault. This was always a sign of a splitting relationship, sooner or later they wouldn't be mates anymore and it would be my fault that I've ruined their happiness together. I could smell snow on the air and we would probably wake up with it everywhere.......this probably isn't the best night to sleep outside. I haven't slept in the cave for weeks maybe even a moon, and it felt very weird. So I stationed myself into the furthest corner in the back, away from everyone else.

I woke and felt the hot breath of another sleeping wolf on my ear tip. The sweet scent of PawStep's fur filled my nose and I didn't want to move and wake her up. I could feel my fur growing hot, why do I feel like this? She has a mate and it wouldn't be right for us to be together, but nonetheless I can still feel my feelings for her slowly returning and I don't know how much longer I can keep them to myself. I started daydreaming of a life if I had excepted her feeling when we were young. She lifted her head and I looked up at her. "H-How long have you been awake?!" she asked me, clearly as flustered as I was that we were in this position. "Oh! N-Not that long! Only about a minute or so. I was about to go back to sleep anyways, besides it's not even dawn yet." She simply nodded and layed her head back down. I layed mine beside her but my heart was pounding so fast I don't think I'd ever go back to sleep. What if she can hear it?! "Hey...I have a question Night," she whispered and then looked me in the eyes. "Y-Yes, What is it?" "I want to break up with Sky— ," I broke her off. "You can't, you guys argue about me all the time, I shouldn't split you apart!" She looked at me and chuckled, "I only want to break up with him because I've realized that Ever since I confessed that night under that huge old oak, My heart was always set on you, but you had MoonLight and I didn't want to ruin that," she looked me in the eyes and I could see they were full of love, "So what do you say Night, I love you so much, and I always have," she leaned towards my ear and whispered, "Will except my confession this time?"
