It all came back to hell

I jumped up and lowered my ears. I squinted my one eye and growled gently, "What do you want?!" He seemed to chuckle at my small frame. He quickly rushed over and shoved me over, I felt my heart leap at the idea of being in another battle. Memories flooding back and forth through my brain. I yelped when my side slammed into the flowers, crushing them. My size giving me an advantage I jumped up right before he landed where I was laying. I jumped on top of his back forcing his bum to the ground. He stumbled and I held him down. I heard him chuckle again and throw me off, leaping on top of me before I could move. "You're not the only quick one ya know?" He growled into my ear. I tried to slow my heartbeat and breathing so I didn't seem as terrified as I was. "What...Do...you...w-want..?" I barely managed to stutter out. "I'm just curious about ya, why you have so many bandages," he then sneered accusingly, "what're you hiding you runt?"

I felt my lungs tighten up and I couldn't breathe. I barely muttered, "That's not your business, Dustin... ." "It is my business if you're gonna sleep in the same place as me, I have a right to know," he growled loudly. "It's my business and you don't have to attack me like this to know. I have scars and they look disgusting, I'm not trying to scare the pups," I growled and started scratching at his stomach to get him off. I saw him raise his paw and I quickly shut my eye, I didn't want to see him. I felt him tear off the leaves on my eye. I felt my good eye widen and he looked at me with a surprised look on his face. Guess it was worse than he thought. I felt anger surge through me at the fact he had done that without my consent. I shoved him off of me with my back legs, I felt triumph fill me when I heard him yelp at the landing.

I stood up and shook out my fur and lowered my head and growled as deep as my voice would go, "Don't you ever touch my bandages again, I'll remove them when I'm ready...runt." I turned and started brushing the flowers with my tail trying to get them to stand back up. "You May leave now, and send Brightheart and Moon here with leaves for bandages so nobody else sees," I said calmly until he didn't move, "Now! I can't sit here all day, I'm not going back until I have more bandages!" With my commanding bark he jumped back up and started rushing towards the cave.

I watched with a smug look on my face and sat in the flowers while waiting for Moon and Dreamheart to show up with my bandages. Instead I saw Dustin return with a wad of them. He had his ears down and his tail tucked. He was standing in a submissive stance as he slowly approached me. "Why did you come back where are the other two?" He glanced to the left and mumbled, "They're both busy and Dreamheart told me that you knew how to do it but you just can't do it yourself." I nodded and motioned him over. I explained to him how to do it as if he were a deaf pup (Which I know what that was like). After messing it up the first few times he got it right and I stood up and rushed back towards the pack. I heard him following me and I ran harder, I hated him more than I did already.

Each time he was around me he would open his mouth as if he wanted to say something but I would stand up and walk away. I was done forgiving people especially if they threaten me and make my memories come back. I didn't want to talk to him and I wouldn't want to ever. I've learned enough about him already. He was a snob. I saw him keep glancing over towards me and Paw, and I actually saw guilt flash in his eyes but I didn't care. It had to be fake, he wanted my pity. I turned back towards PawStep and nuzzled into her neck. "whats on your mind honey?' I heard her mumble. I yawned and replied, "Dustin's trying to get me to pity him, he ripped my bandages off the other day. I refuse to talk to him. He keeps trying to approach and talk to me. It's getting annoying." "Well maybe he really is sorry." "Then I'm done forgiving," I barely mumbled out before yawning again. Paw helped me up and we walked back to our cage to sleep. This had been a long day..

I woke up and it was barely dawn outside, Paw was still sound asleep beside me. I stood up carefully and went out of the cave to stretch my legs and eat. I was getting kind of used to being here. I liked the place it was very pretty and they had lots of flowers. I walked over to a pile of prey and took a small piece from a deer, I didn't want to take too much. I went over to a small place by myself and started eating slowly; thinking of something I could do today. I haven't done something active in a while. Except for walk and lay in the flowers. Maybe I'd explore some of the land outside the cave.
