A week later when Rey came back from a shift at 'Jabba's place' Maz greeted her at the front desk as she came in at 11.10pm like normal. Maz had been working the night shift that night.
"I thought it was too important to wait."
Maz handed Rey the letter with a smile. Rey's face lite up as she opened the envelope immediately. She wanted to share this moment with Maz and so she didn't wake up the other residents at the hostel with her excited squeals.
"Hello Rey,
We received your accommodation fee and within the envelope you will find a map to navigate the dorm building and your key. Within your apartment you may decorate it however you like. This means you can even decorate and paint the walls to your taste. They is a single bed in the dorm, a desk and chair. You have a kitchenette, bathroom, living room, bedroom and a balcony. You are allowed pets at your apartment if you so wish to have them. You can come as soon as you like to live in your apartment just come down to the university and we will help you. I bet you will want to come to get your measurements and things, so we hope to see you soon.
Principle Vader."
Rey wrapped Maz in a tight huge after she had finished reading the letter. She quietly skipped into get her clothes from her drawers and put her letter away then went to change into her pyjamas. When she came back to her bed, she opened one of the unlocked drawers to retrieve her pilot doll and curled up into a ball with it in her arms.

Rey was going to the university tomorrow and thoughts of her apartment filled her mind and dreams. She was super excited. Tomorrow was the day she would go to her new home a measure up for furniture and furnishings. She could finally have a place that represented her. She would finally have a home like when she lived with Mrs. Erso all those years ago.
