Prequel of Constellations.

Jeremy entered Michael's room with a goofy grin and a bag in his hand. "Ayo, bitch, guess what I got?"

Michael looked up from his phone, he wasn't surprised that Jeremy just barged into his home without even knocking. It's a common occurrence. "What?"

Jeremy giggled and pulled out a bottle of alcohol. "Whiskey, biiitch!" He excitedly exclaimed.

Michael snorted but sat up a bit straighter against the headboard. "But, isn't this a terrible idea? I mean, we have the play tomorrow," Michael hesitated.

"Pffft," Jeremy waved his hand dismissively. "nonsense, Michael. We'll just take a small sip to relax, and then we'll play videogames." He smiled childishly at Michael who kept a poker face.

The caramel skinned boy sighed. "You and I both know that's not gonna happen," he stated the obvious, but Jeremy's grin just got wider, and Michael couldn't help but give into that goofy smile that Jeremy only flashed when he had awful ideas.

Michael sighed. "Fine. This is gonna end terribly, let's do it."

He got up from the bed and sat on the floor. Jeremy punched the air excitedly and closed the door to Michael's room.

"Let's drink up, my dude," Jeremy cheered, opening the full bottle. Michael snorted at his friend's enthusiasm.

A few hours had passed and the bottle was half empty.

Michael's hoodie was discarded on the floor as well as Jeremy's shoes

"M'cha," Jeremy leaned his head against the boy's. " 'm tired." He yawned and stretched, not seeing his friend's eyes trail down to the exposed skin on his waist.

Jeremy let his arms fall limp and looked at Michael. He blushed as he stared at the Filipino, not daring to look away when Michael's eyes trailed back up and they made eye contact.

Michael was the first to break the staring contest as his eyes scanned Jeremy's face. The lanky boy payed no mind as he too stared at the sight in front of him, too drunk to even feel self conscious.

Michael giggled drunkenly. "You have stars on your face," he poked Jeremy's cheek. "Boop."

Jeremy furrowed his brows in concern, eyes lost on the ground. "I'm not ready to b'come a universe," he stated slightly panicked. He shuffled a bit with wide and scared eyes, looking at Michael for help.

Michael just tilted his head and stared at the boy. "You're my universe," he smiled softly to himself and Jeremy's heart skipped a beat. Michael looked around, searching for something.

"C'mere," Michael slurred, smiling at Jeremy.

Jeremy scooted over, closed his eyes and leaned forward with puckered lips.

He was met with a cold tip touching his cheek and opened his eyes to find a blurry Michael biting his tongue and furrowing his eyebrows in concentration as he stared intensely at Jeremy's cheek. The boy was softly tracing his face with a sharpie.

"What're you doin'?" Jeremy asked curiously, not caring that his face was currently being drawn on.

"Finding constellations in my universe." Michael replied as-a-matter-of-factly as he kept drawing.

"Oh." Jeremy sat still, not wanting to ruin his best friend's work as he felt the lines being drawn on his face.

"This one's a lion," Michael mumbled to himself, thinking out loud.

He traced a straight line on Jeremy's cheek before making a sudden sharp turn. "I call this one love," Michael smiled proudly and Jeremy blushed. He grinned softly to himself before feeling a pair of lips against his cheek.

He turned to look at Michael in shock. Michael giggled in return and shrugged.

"I just really like your freckles," Michael drunkenly confessed. Jeremy giggled, leaning towards Michael.

The boy pulled away from his best friend and gasped. "Ooh, Micha, y'should call one spagaeh- spagah- spa- speghetti!" He didn't pay mind to the difficulty he had pronouncing the word.

Michael's eyes widened. "Yes!" He drew a squiggly line. "Spaghet!" he exclaimed proudly before drifting off to draw other lines.

Jeremy's face had at least ten black lines, all messy and smudged. "There!" Michael capped the marker. "All done, universe!"

Jeremy softly touched his face, fingertips grazing his cheeks in awe and wonder. He was Michael's universe, and now he had constellations.

Jeremy giggled to himself in a childlike manner and yawned. He rubbed his eyes tiredly. Michael smiled to himself.

The pale boy hummed mindlessly as he shifted from his sitting position into a more comfortable one. He whined feeling something constricting his body from moving fully.

Jeremy was quick to stand up and begin unbuttoning his jeans.

Michael blushed and stared at the boy. "t's wrong, berry?"

"My jeans are uncomfy," he wiggled out of them and opened Michael's window, letting them drop into the bush below. "Bye-bye," he mumbled in a childish manner.

Michael joined him by the window his eyes trailing from the discarded jeans on the bushes towards his car.

"We have a thing tomorrow," he stated, then turned to Jeremy. "Right?"

Jeremy nodded, not really paying attention to Michael, eyes lost and lips parted.

Michael turned towards the closed door. "I'm gonna get ready for tomorrow, put my glasses in the car so I won't forget them." he explained as he left the room.

Jeremy took the bottle of whisky and took a swig, waiting for his friend's return. He laid down on the bed, staring up at the stars stuck in the ceiling.

He and Michael had pasted them a long time ago, it was a cool present that Michael had gotten from one of his uncles.

Jeremy glared at the fluorescent plastic. "I'm his universe, back off," he mumbled before falling asleep.

Only some minutes passed before Michael opened the door. "M'back." He saw Jeremy sleeping on his bed and crawled next to him, laying his head on the boy's shoulder as he held his waist.

He reached out to turn off his lava lamp then got comfortable once more and shut his eyes.
