I watched him walk down the street and disappear into the dark. I rubbed my stomach gingerly hissing softly, he had grabbed the edge of my wound when he hit me. I forgot about that hook of his, damn it hurt, I just hope that he didn't pop anything. Else I'd have to go back to get the whole damn thing redone. I deserved it all, and more but I'd be damned if I said that it didn't hurt like hell.

My eyes grazed over the plain black sweater that had been all but deserted on the cold grey concrete floor. Removing my hand from my side I kneeled down and took the item into my hands, my hands clasping onto the soft fabric, chuckling softly as the thought came to mind. He kept it all day long. Sighing soft as I stood, I wasn't surprised at how he reacted. He would only show that kind of emotion with me.

Normally, he was pretty much reluctant to show anything, not that I really blamed him.

A headache began to grow causing me to wince from the pain, it just continued to grow. I rubbed the area that it steamed from unconsciously as I looked down, my vision blurring heavily from the pain as it grew. Sighing I shook my head, blinking rapidly to clear my blurred vision. I bit the inside of my cheek, tapping my hand against my leg as I felt an anxiety build inside of me. Something was wrong. I looked around, seeing nothing out of the ordinary I started in my way home, freezing in my tracks at the crossroads between Kuroko's house and my own.

My heart beat slow yet wild with my thoughts presenting no counter to it. My feet turned without my consent and I ran off to Kuroko's house. Not knowing as to why, but feeling as if I should. Panting slightly as I bounded the stairs in twos arriving, stumbling at his door. I knocked soft, no reply. I knocked harder. No reply.

There was someone inside, I could hear the shuffling of people. I tried the door handle, it was unlocked. Allowing myself to enter, my eyes glazed over the apartment, nothing seemed particularly out of place.

"Kuroko?" I called out. My voice bouncing off the walls in an eerie manner. Closing the door behind me I walked further inside, listening carefully. My The hair on the back of my neck standing on end as I looked for Kuroko. Consciously I slowed my breathing to one that was shorter and more shallow, my eyes scanning around the darkened walls of the room trying to make out more than the furniture against the darkened backdrop. Keeping myself as alert as I was physically able, trying to shove out the matters of my heart so that I could focus. I knew well that someone else was here that wasn't supposed to be here, I just couldn't tell how many there were. The max that I would say would be about a team of six, a pair at minimum. Ensuring that my steps were quiet, to avoid startling myself with unexpected noises from my own body. Eyes adjusting quick to the lack of light. I reached down to my ankle and pulled out a small knife, twirling it out of habit as I stood and waited again. My eyes scanning the different shapes and sizes of the variety of furniture pieces in the house. Closing my eyes, allowing myself a slight vulnerability to listen, feel and sense my surroundings. It was too dangerous to turn on the lights. I didn't know who was here. What they were here for.

Shuffle. Creak.

Found you, idiot. My eyes opened slightly. They were behind me, "Amateur..." I muttered and ducked as a bat swung at my head, my hands collided with the wooden floor as I swept my leg around, pulling their legs straight out from under them. Causing a loud thud and two more bodies to appear. Flicking my wrist slightly to adjust the placement of my knife, pulling my body up into a handstand as the two others attempted to launch an assault. Landing easily on my feet, one of them flicking the lights on. Four huh,"Tsk. I was hoping for a challenge."

"Who are you?" One growled.

I glared at them, "Where's the guy that lives here?"

"What's it matter to you?" Another sneered.
